Damn can’t believe he has 21 points after this Injury

Austin Rivers was injured in a collision with Portland’s Al-Farouq Aminu midway through the first quarter. When Austin River got up, fans could see how serious the Bloody Eye Injury was.

I hated that last shot by Crawford.  A  running floater against 2 defenders. I know those are shots he has made, but the Clips could of gotten off a better shot than that.

Rivers was bussing Portland, blowing by big guards and rising over Lillard who was too small. Getting to the cup at will. Took it personal to step up in Paul’s absence and show why he’s a nba caliber player not just a coaches son but someone who deserves his minutes. Even after the injury he puts 13 points in the 4th quarter and 21 in the game while making good decisions. He may have left duke too early but he’s blossoming in his situation. He won’t back down from anyone and is someone id want to be in the trenches with cause he balls in the big moments.

I’ve got to give Austin Rivers credit for putting in the work this past offseason with Sam Cassell to improve his game as a point guard.  He has improved to be a good defender and gotten better at running the offense as the backup point guard.

& the Same goes for Portland…….. B/c an opportunity does not mean much unless you take advantage of it………. And the Blazers Really grabbed a Great opportunity w/ Both hands……… the Clips losing CP3 & Blake Griffin…… reminded me a great deal of the Strike-shortened 2011/12′ season……….

When the Chicago Bulls finished w/ the #1 seed for the 2nd year in a row…….. But lost BOTH Derrick Rose (Game 1) & Joakim Noah (Game 3) early in the Series………. The Bulls valiantly fought………. & pushed the Series to 6 games before bowing out to the Phila 76ers…..

Portland has a goodlooking youn team……. & they are fun to watch………….. loads of Ball movement & fearless guards……. Golden State vs Portland is going to be A Lot of Fun for us fans……..
