once again improud to talk about a kdi ive worked with and who is from my highschool. he hasnt been getting the praise he deserves from fans. the kid is strong as hell and is a lights out shooter as well as a very good scorer. in the nba think rich man’s keith bogans( another alum) or roger mason( yet another maryland product….yeah we produce ballers). the other half of the back court ,chris wright, isnt bad either( u guessed it hes from maryland as well)…all are also at one time or another fomer d.c assult players

lol Maryland produces some nice players like Beasley, Durant, Reggie Lewis, Stevie Franchise, Jeff Green, Rudy Gay, Delonte West, Roy Hibbert, and alot other NBA players. Maryland is an up and coming state when it comes to athletics, look how much top football and basketball recruits they have been producing the last decade. Maryland isnt even half the size or population of Illinois or NY, I think Maryland def. produces its fair share of talent when it comes to athletics compared to all the bigger states. Heck Gary Williams can’t even recruit his own state cause other out of state colleges are taking away all the in-state talent.

He’s like a 12th man. I think Freeman is a long shot for the NBA, but he could make it with is shot. He has to get better on D though from what I’ve seen. He’s very average on that end.

Miami is getting killed by that. We aren’t like Memphis, in Basketball we can’t keep our players that get national attention here.

Freeman needs to lose another 10-15 lbs. in order to have a chance. Everyone knows he can stroke it, but for him to make it as an undersized 2-guard he is going to need to guard someone. He gives good effort on that end, but he isn’t quick enough at his current weight to really be anything more than a speed bump.

Quincey, I agree. I’ve been very high on him since his Dematha days and I think he has a shot at a solid NBA career. I remember him as All-Met player of the year. He is just lethal offensively right now and should contribute as a solid scorer off the bench. Yeah I agree he might need to lose weight, but it might not be beneficial to him- as he might get weaker. His senior year next year will either make or break him.

both teams play hard- hes 6’5 he doesnt need to lose weight and his defense is good enough. there isnt any great defenders in college and players in the nba have average defense at best so i doubt thats gonna be a big problem

Prospect21 are you serious… i can go down a very long list of nba players from the area right now that chi nor ny can match

you do know who kevin durant is right?..ty lawson, jeff green mike beasley jeff green roy hibbert rudy gay??..and we are wayy more then up and coming. the area has been one of the top hot bed for hoops for decades.. some of ya’ll young people might just bee too young to remeber. back in the day dunbar and dematha used to run highschool hoops so how about chitown and nyc step there game up Prospect21

I thought u’d understand with the LOL at the end. Yea, I understand MD has ballers, I was kidding.

Noone mention Washington and PA as hotbeds? They produced some good players over the past decade
