I agree, I don’t see Smith staying in ATL if he has other options. I watch all the Hawks games (living in Atlanta) and the fans or brutal on him every time he shoots a jumper. I don’t think Bazz will slide that for and they took Jon Jenkins in the first round last year.I read a couple places that they gave a promised to Giannis Adetokoubo. Atlanta loves drafting 6-8, 6-9 players. (J.Smoove, Childress, Sheldon and Marvin Willliams) so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Call me crazy, but as a Celtics’ fan I’d like to trade rondo to atl for 17, 18, and whatever contract makes it work, if Dennis Schroder is there at 16.

Rondo there would entice Smith to re-sign, and the celtics having 3 consecutive picks at the best value stage of this draft would mean they could pick 3 players at once who fit with each other and the celtics roster:
schroder or Larkin
KCP or Shabazz if either are there
Plumlee and/or Olynyk and or Bebe and or Mitchell

Rondo is not a rebuild kind of guy, to say the very least.
