Mr.Knick 32ParticipantDoesn’t make sense for Atlanta. Marvin Williams will be a key bench piece. I don’t believe Pryzbilla is a starter.
Why not wait until he’s a FA in 10 months…

ghettosermonParticipantUnloading Marvin’s contract would be huge especially since they need to resign Horford over the summer and if they have any hopes of resigning Jamal Crawford as well they have to get rid of Marvin’s contract although maybe Jordan Crawford proves this year he can take that role at a discount rate.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantIf I was Atlanta, I would move Crawford to be honest.

ghettosermonParticipantWhy in the world would they move Crawford unless they get a starting SF or Center. He’s a big 11 mil expiring and is the best 6th man in the NBA and need him if they plan on even being competitive against upper tier teams this year. Unless you get something good for him you don’t trade a guy like him. He has huge value, he’s a big expiring and the best bench player in the NBA.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYou said it yourself…11 million and a great 6th man.
I could see Atlanta getting offers by teams who need a explosive bench player for him. I don’t see alot of teams wanting a Marvin Williams. Jamal Crawford could pull you a good center and a 1st round pick.

chibulls88ParticipantWho would trade a good center and a 1st for Crawford? If you have a good center you would not trade him for a sixth man who will leave in a year. The best I can think of is a Crawford for Biedrins or Okafor trade. Both are decent centers with long cap crippling contracts. Atlanta would have a better record with Crawford than either of those two.
