Where do they go from here?

With Marvin Williams and Joe Johnson gone, who will replace them on the perimeter? Or who will they bring in?

I like that they got rid of those 2 honestly, Williams never reached his potential and Johnson was overpaid by a large amount of money.

I think now Jeff Teague will do even better this year, now that one(Joe Johnson) of the 2 ball stoppers are gone(the other being Josh Smith). He has alot of potential and showed flashes when he was aggressive and Josh and Joe weren’t jacking up everything.

 They are rebuilding and this will be an awful year. I live right outside Atlanta and I haven’t been a hawks fan for years. Every since they passed on CP3 and DWill for Marvin Williams when they needed a PG its been hard to be a fan. But I actually love what they are doing right now. I was 100% against giving Johnson that contract and thank god they got away from it. They hardly have any salary committed to next year and actually have a small chance of getting a Dwight Howard, CP3, and Josh Smith big 3. Dwight is from Atlanta and Atlanta has one of the better packages out there centered around Horford. This will be a tough year for the Hawks, but the future is definitely brighter.

I was a former season ticket holder over much of the late 80s. Moved to Asia and lost interest. The team seemed intent on drafting lots of 6-7 to 6-9 buys (think Childress, Smith, Williams etc) not drafting CP3 is what really hurt. I hope they finally turn things around.

 from Broklyn. Jordan Williams might be a decent player, I think he has potential to be a Al Horford(light). I also like that they got John Jenkins, in the draft, he should be able to take some of the Joe Johnson role in a year or two at a affordable pricce.
