Is there any chance these two will be the starting guards for the Wizards the entire 2010-2011 season? Could be a great duo or could be disastrous.

I think thats whats going to happen, Arenas is considered a combo/scoring guard, so his ony adjustment would be not having the ball in his hands as much, i think it’ll be a great duo if Arenas is capable of making the adjustment…and not getting ball hungry

There starting lineup next season might look like:

PG: Wall
SG: Arenas
SF: Thornton
PF: Blatche
C: McGee

I don’t have a problem with that lineup. Wall and Arenas compliment each other well. They just need a versatile defender who can defend PG’s-SF’s. They probably thought they’d never think this, but they would probably would trade their left nut to have Dominic McGuire again. He would be a perfect guy to bring off the bench to defend some of Arenas’ matchups at the 2 when Wall is out of the game.

Josh Howards contract from the trade last year if he is there he is the starter at the 3 or
first off the bench.

Is there any chance?? It’s basically a 100% chance they are the starting guards for Washington this year, unless they trade Arenas. I think they are a great combo and would probably be the best backcourt in the league.

if he can learn to play defense that will be a mean combo……wall has the size to guard the two spot too so it COULD work IF he can do that…..otherwise its a pretty bad backcourt defensively…..
