Are Chris Paul, Lebron James, D Wade , Melo, Amare and Bosh Scared to death of Competition...???

First Amare Signs with NY...begs and pleads for other "stars" to come join him in the rotten apple...he literally whored himself out for that Max Deal he got...

Then...Wade and Bosh become butt buddies one weekend in Miami and tweet "someones missing"...like when is that sex tape going to be leak for real...Gay...

Then Lebron makes "The Decision" to tuck is penis between legs and call himself Queen Lawanda James...the surgery to chop IT off is scheduled for later this year...

Then in the After math of the Threesome in Miami...every single "STAR" player on any team besides LA and MIA want out...and they only want to go to The LAKERS or HEAT...WTF...

These Cowards are all trying to Steal Championships and are killing the league...This is are steroid era people...none of the records and titles amassed after the Lakers last ring should be recognized as valid...

Melo is on a Top 4 team in the West that has tried to build a winner around HIM...

Paul WAS..The Best Pg in the NBA until he got injured, looked around and said...I am really not that good...I cannot win being the MAN and I might as well be KOBE"S &$#%#&@!...

THESE GUYS ARE SCARED AND I'm no Longer of fan of any of the above mentioned players...I do not care if I get a million minuses...A Coward is a Coward is a Coward...

Funny Post

Those comments are funny as hell!! Everyone wants to win a ring aleast Wade won one before he brought Bosh(WOULD HAVE NEVER WON A RING EVER EVER EVER if he didn't sign with a STAR FILLED TEAM which I think he's not). Lebron I believe could have done it by himself but choose not(Confused). CP3 is hyping up the PARKER-MELO-AMARE combo and thats why he listed knicks as one of potential team along with Lakers. Im a Nets fan and I will root for them with or without stars(12-70 can't get worse) so I don't care as long as Our Billionaire delivers a championship in his ownership era preferably before the move to Brooklyn(long shot)

Has Melo actually said

Has Melo actually said anything about leaving? I mean obviously I've heard the knicks rumor but he hasnt demanded a trade or anything like that has he?

btw, those are legit questions, I'm not bashing your post, we actually agree on something lol, this past season was one of the best seasons in a while IMO, now its all ruined because of the threat, unless other teams form these mega teams, but how many of them can there be, theres only so many superstars to go around, parody in the NBA is out the window for the next 10+ years.

Why wouldn't u want to

Why wouldn't u want to recruit other stars or you want to play with a bunch of average players.
That won't get you very far in the playoffs.
Look at the Twolves all those years with KG he was a top PF but they never got passed the 1st round till they added Sprewell and Cassell.
Kobe couldn't get out of the 1st round w/that weak supporting cast.
Wade the last couple years the same story he has to up 45 just for them to win 1 game at home.
Lebron had to leave the Cavs were capped out and have a weak roster that team even with him wouldn't beat the Magic, Bulls or Celtics. Soon the Bucks would pass them too and in a year the Knicks would too.
He should've gone to Chicago or NY but he took less to play with 2 All Stars what you gonna do.
Didn't want to wait to be elite that eliminated the Knicks, Nets, Clips, Cavs.
Would've been interested if the Bulls traded Deng for an elite shooter who would complement Rose and Lebron.
Than if Lebron still passed on the Bulls he would've looked even worse.

Chris Paul really must want

Chris Paul really must want to be traded....

It's ridiculous how CBS and ESPN were reporting the teams he prefers (Magic, Lakers and Knicks.)

All these players jumping

All these players jumping ship or trying to jump ship makes me appreciate what Kobe has done and what KD is trying to do in OKC.

Kobe clearly was in a great situation from the start....

The only guy I respect is Durant.... It was good to see he was already signed to a 5 year extension. Also was nice I didn't even have to hear anyone talk about it on sportscenter...

Durant has a nice core group

Durant has a nice core group of players around him. Durant and Westbrook work well together. All the other pieces are interchangeable. Any superstar player would have signed that deal if he was in Durant's shoes.

But Lets get real though guys. You can't expect for 1 guy with a bunch of mediocre players take down a team in the Lakers or the Heat. The LeBron deal set off a chain reaction. I wouldn't say every single star player wants out. Melo hasn't said anything about leaving Denver. The only star player that has actually said he wanted out was Paul, and no matter how good Paul plays, he isn't going to do well in the West because his supporting cast is mediocre. You can't blame him for wanting out because the Hornets haven't made any moves for his team to be competitive against the Lakers or any top team in the west for that matter. Chris Paul is probably one of the most competitive guys in this league, so I wouldn't question his competitive nature. The only guy who surpasses him in that respect is Kobe.

C'MON SON!!!

The Formula has been STAR player gets surrounded by QUALITY Players. NOT STAR PLAYER COMPLAINS AND WHINES ABOUT WANTING TO PLAY WITH OTHER STAR PLAYERS AND FORCES TRADES.
Magic was Drafted to a great Team. He didn't dictate where he went. Same for Bird. Jordan had Mediocre players until his Team drafted Pippen and company around him and made a few shrewd trades for more quality players. Kobe forced his way onto the Lakers (I Will never forget that 96 draft...I'm a NETS fan and we were going to take him at 8 but he refused to play for us Charlotte gets him at 13 and ships him to LA for Vlade). But Kobe stayed through all the ups and downs and will retire a Laker now.

There is a delicate balance that makes sports Leagues work. The NBA balance is now compromised.

This "New Mess" concocted by the "Scheme Team" in Miami has started a very bad trend where the players will choose where they play and who they play with while everyone just nods in approval. How can the average fan even connect to a player knowing there is no loyalty there? LeBron was Cleveland in every since and left them high and dry. The franchise may never recover)I smell them winning the Lottery next year too! Same way the "won" Lebron in the first place) CP3 was New Orleans with all they been through. Now he needs "help" and is crying for a trade to a powerhouse? Forget the fans huh? But you still want us spending 150$ on your UGLY 4$ made sneakers because you stopped through long enuff to make an impression. Cleveland made Lebron a "King" fawned over him and gave him the run of the city because he was one of their "own". And he did them real dirty. Now CP3 is about to do the same to NO even tho he is not from there. The city after a;; it went through needed him and loved him. And now he acts like it never happened because he wants to be handed a Ring.

If any of these guys happen to win a ring. I say dont give them the diamond gold platinum rings that the real champs got. Give them the plastic gumball machine rings instead.

And Miss me with the whole "they took LESS money to win". They all still clear 100 million so its not exactly charity. I guess we should start Micing up All star practices, Team Usa activities and the green room at the NBA draft so we know who is friends. "Congragulations Harry Barnes your the #1 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. So I guess the first thing we want to know is who will you be Playing with in 3 years when your rookie contract is up?"

I guess we are headed back to an 8 team league now. That means 22 teams close up shop. GREAT Job David Stern. Way to Expand your league. The other leagues are laughing at the NBA and will continue to do so. You allowed your players to become larger than the League as a whole.

I think the only person you

I think the only person you can't blame for the Big 3 was Wade. Yes, he did recruiting but that is entirely acceptable. Nothing wrong with trying to bring talent to your own team.

Yo guys I agree with everything you said...

They watered down the talent level league anyway...Now 3 Top 10 guys pack up shop and kill 2 markets and have the potential to destroy the NBA...what no one mentions is how sneaky and underhanded the whole thing was...Teams and Agents can't talk to players before FA starts...but players can conspire and dictate where they go...They're seems to be WWE thing hapenning in the NBA...meaning they are rigging the outcome of the event...and I know wrestling is fake and a part of sports entertainment....but that's what going on in the NBA...right now they're is only 2 contenders...the Lakers and the Heat...

Celtics,Bulls, Magic and entire Western Conference are just the Under card...the Main event seems to be The Lakers Vs. The Heat...Kobe Vs. Lebron...Old Super Team Screw Artists Vs. The New Queen's Team...

Kobe might have been in a

Kobe might have been in a good situation, and he certainly is in a good situation now, but there was a time when he had a flirtatious summer with the Bulls. They had a very disappointing team for a few years with Kwame Brown and company. Kobe stuck it out though, and when they got Gasol, they flourished again. Kobe has not always been in a good situation though...

I don' think New Orleans has a chance to regain what little strength they once had, there's just not enough talent there to win a title. I can't fault Paul, he's a facilitator, not a number one scoring threat. It would help his game greatly by joining another superstar, whether it be Kobe/Pau or D. Howard...

These players nowadays are trying to build dynasties by packing up, not by growing within the teams that drafted them, it's just a different time in the NBA right now. I don't like the way it's going, but it will make it interesting...

I liked it better before

I liked it better before everyone else started loving Durant lol

NYK2010, what would you rather see? Every star player in the NBA complains about not having a good enough team, so they all team up with each other and the same 2 teams meet in the Finals every year for 10 years. 2 All Star teams and 28 teams with a roster of scrubs

OR

Teams building the *right* way (Thunder, Blazers, etc.) around one superstar, and the right role players to compliment the superstar. And actually having competition between the top teams, instead of constant sweeps til the Finals

No kidding, All free agency

No kidding, All free agency aside Lebron, Bosh, Wade, Howard, Carmelo, Amare, all won with their original teams, I'm taking back my nickname I made the other day of Chris "Kris" Paul and am now dubbing him Chris " Slumberparty " Paul. The NBA needs more Kevin Durants and Derrick Roses.

Kobe's been in a better

Kobe's been in a better situation than Jordan for much more of his career with a team that won 3 championships in a row before those 'hard times', so Kobe need not be in this argument.

Amare is the sole star on a team that people love to hate... But he sold his soul and is a coward? Whatever dude.

As for Bosh, Lebron, Paul, excetera... they want to win. Period. They dont want to be Stocktons, Dominique, or Malones, or Barkleys, or Dantleys, or Ewings, dominant players that never win a championship because a team like the Lakers or Chicago or Boston have two+ superstars. you could argue that those Bulls had the best two perimeter players of their era.

They want to be part of legends. They want to have teams like Magic, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and Worthy. They want teams like Bird, Parish and McHale. They want Jordan, Pippen, Rodman. They want to win 5+ championships. And if you hate it so much, don't watch it. Dont support it. Because I can guarantee you a lot more people will be Heat fans. And I can guarantee the ratings of the NBA will go up. Because the NBA is never more successful when you can tune into one game and see more talent than in any other, like the Celtics Lakers.

Besides, havent we been watching the older version play for a couple years in Boston? And don't they still have to play? I'm looking forward to seeing how all this plays out.

I understand what they are

I understand what they are trying to do, but I'm just afraid all of the elite players will form their own trios and there be like 5 different teams stacked with all the superstars

The NBA in the 80's and 90's

The NBA in the 80's and 90's (golden eras) always had 4 or 5 STACKED teams that competed for championships... There was a reason why Magic and Larry always went to the Finals, their team was FAR better than any other teams... This idea of balance in the NBA is a misconception, in the NBA there is a distinct line between the haves and have nots.. I bet MOST of the people who are swearing off the NBA and Lebron will tune in to watch games next year.. IMO the Heat are must watch TV... TEAMS win championships not players.. Im curious how good Magic would be if Anthony Parker, Antwan Jamison, and SHAQ where finishing all those fancy passes.. How good would Larry Bird defense would be if Parrish and McHale werent protecting the lane... I watched Dominique Wilkins try to beat the Celtics by himself in the 88 ECF and the better TEAM won...

@they are killing the leauge.

@they are killing the leauge. I know more people who barely watch basketball who are now gonna watch every heat game. This will actually bring the leauge more money because some fans want to see a super team with lots of dunks while others wanna see them get beat. People van complain all the want but I bet you they will be watching or buying tickets to games when the heat are in town. Already looking to get jazz bs heat tickets.

Question what are the top two goals of players in every sport? Win a title andake as much money as you can. I don't think this makes them
less competitive it just shows the put winning a title above all else which is what people always say should be a players goal

have the Yankees been killing baseball with all the stats they get? Ummmm no since they are raking in dough and many people buy tickets to watch th win or hope they lose.

Exactly. What does d Wilkins have to show for staying in Atlanta and winning no titles? His legacy? More people already hold lebron over him. And when talking about one of the best he's rarely mentioned because he's never won a title

I honestly want a team like

I honestly want a team like the Blazers or Thunder to become dominant. It would discourage future players from making super-teams in the future. Sure, Batman needs Robin, but that's just it -- he needs Robin, not the entire Justice League.

I love this because now it

I love this because now it will force Gm's to be smart and either trade for super team or draft super teams. They will mean that you have to make sure you are trading for a super player and not a wannabe.

Boston pretty much has a similiar situation despite age and Lakers have a power house team as well.

Also if Carter would show up, Orlando would have a super team

Atlanta is a Center away from a super team or close to it.

People are saying it is bad for basketball and that does not even sound good in theory.

If Miami is bad for basketball then Lakers, Orlando, and Boston are as well.

I can understand not liking Lebron for joining Wade and calling names but saying this is bad for the NBA is stupid.

This is actually good for the league.

The NBA is getting more attention than it has even been.

Also it will make teams play harder more of the regular season now.

People must have forgot a team that won 72-10 and that was not bad for the league.

Miami will not win over 65 games and they are not ready to win the championship this coming year.

I have no clue how Miami Heat is bad for the league if it bringing in more fans of basketball to pay

attention whether out of hate or love.

Outside of that if they win 65 plus game or say 72, it has been done before.

No one had issues when the Bulls super team was dominating through the regular season and most of the playoffs for wins.

Yes that team was a super team, you don't win 72 game with Jordan and just regular players.

The

Thunder GM, Sam Presti, said himself that he would rather have a Utah Jazz/San Antonio team than a Miami Heat/Los Angeles Lakers team.

As a Jazz fan, I can dig that.

Oops

Nevermind. He didn't say exactly that.

Presti is tring to build a long-term team that is talented like the Utah Jazz or the San Antonio Spurs rather than blow his free-agency money on a player like Bosh or Amare in an attempt to instantly become a championship contender.

I can still dig it.

I agree with you on some points, others, not so much, i agree with you in the sense that I dont think it is bad for the NBA in a marketing sense, like you said people are going watch the heat now either out of love or hate, but if you're a true NBA fan, like most of us on here are, I dont see how you can say this is a good thing for the NBA, unless of course you're a heat fan(I'm sure they're are alot more now then there was 3 weeks ago lol). And the comparison to the bulls is off base, I'm not one of those people that think Jordan did it on his own, like you said that team was stacked, but it's completely different then the Miami situation, Chicago drafted there 2 superstars, and yes, they picked up some pieces along the way(kerr, Rodman, etc), but for those 6 rings, it was Jordan and Scotties teams. And I dont even have THAT big of a problem with what the heat did, they cleared the space, they got the players. But I just think alot of people dont like what Miami did, thats why you hear all the backlash now.

I think its good for the league, the entertainment factor is off the charts... Who would NOT want to see a potential Heat v Lakers Finals... Thats crazy star power: Lebron v Artest, Kobe v Wade, Bosh v Gasol plus when you add the solid veterans both teams have it would be MUST SEE TV...
