McDunkinHe showed he wasn’t ready for the international game at the eurocamp last year but maybe he can find a role now after his brief pro experience

Sewok15ParticipantTwo of his last 4 games he played in the D-league he had 22 points on decent shooting so I doubt he was released for strictly basketball reasons. Somebody will pay him to play basketball somewhere.

JoeWolf1When you’re a 5’6" point guard and average more TO’s and fouls than assists, then you’re in a vulnerable spot at any level.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipant“Some personal things are happening with him that made it difficult for him to focus here,” Sevens general manager and Sixers front office executive Brandon Williams said. “He’s a good kid, and I think talented, so just being waived in the D-League is certainly not a ‘no’ forever, it’s just not the best fit right now. … His family has been very engaged, and he has a very strong support system pulling for him. He’s had a tough stretch here with private affairs.”
A close family member died in late November. And attendance issues may have contributed to his departure, according to a source close to the situation. Carr sat out the last five games and was listed as inactive for the last three.
Carr, whose daughter, Averi, turns 2 years old in March, did not immediately respond to requests for comment but told a Twitter follower that he’s “always got a back up plan” and said he’d be home “just for the week.”
“He’s got grown up problems, grown up issues going on in his life that kind of has him kind of torn,” a person with knowledge of Carr’s situation said. “He’s got a lot of stuff going on that he really needs to take care of.”
