He’s one player I’ve really wanted to see this year. He wasn’t invited to the Hoop Summit or the McDonald’s All-American Game, but from what I’ve seen, I think he’s more versatile than some of the big-name wing prospect in his class, like Brandon Ingram, Alonzo Trier, Isaiah Briscoe, etc.

He has an element to his game that is so often over-looked, and that is vision. He’s got an uncanny sense for where teammates are, and that’s not something that always translates to the box score because unless the recipient of a pass is able to finish, the play statistically vanishes. I’ve also found great passers to be incredibly underrated and often the reason for a team’s success; particularly when they are not point guards, who are usually expected to be good passers, because adding a second or third great passer to the floor has a multiplying effect on the team’s offensive chemistry, ball movement, and rhythm. Players like that almost always find ways to get on the floor and have an impact.

That being said, Mitchell hasn’t played yet this year due to an ongoing eligibility investigation, however, I couldn’t immediately find any details. I know he’s practicing with the team. Does anyone know anything?

 I’m not exactly why he isnt eligible but on the OSU website Eleven Warriors rumors have it beening something on the AAU circuit or his families move from Flordia to Texas being the main hold up with being reasons why he hasn’t been cleared. Wish he was playing I was really looking foward to watching him play the point wing for the bucks this year looks like a great ball distributor from what I’ve seen of him.

 Waiting too.. It is prolly about his year that he stayed behind or family issues. He should be good by december 1, but we will see. He is a heck of a player, could change a game. He reminds me of Evan Turner or Lance Stephenson.. He is not ultra athletic, but athletic enough and he can shoot. and his passing is on another letter.
