AdamJCallejaParticipantWilbekin just signed a deal with the Sixers and I couldn’t be any happier for the guy. Was a huge fan of his at Florida & always wanted to see him make it in the league. He just played with so much heart and was really fun to watch. Didn’t watch him in the summer league but I’m sure he was rock solid. Best of luck to him, I’ll be supporting.

RUDEBOY_Participanthappy for him..i’ve always love his playmaking ability and competitiveness…he seems to have worked on his range..he was balling in summer league…
but the signing is kind of strange, considering they just inked pierre jackson to a multi yr deal..and i dont think they are guys you can depend on as your team’s fulltime starter…..

holefillers1ParticipantThey are so thin at the pg spot. I think the idea is to bring in four or five guys to camp and see which ones mesh with the bugs. Wouldn’t be surprised if they resign Ishe "The Nightmare" Smith. I have him that nickname last year…it goes both ways.

SkalAndJamalParticipantI am happy for him that he made the league, but I don’t like the fit with him and the sixers. No matter how untalented a roster, realistically he will be no more than a role player. So for him to stay in the league it would make more sense he would be a 3rd string PG, waiting for an opportunity to prove he can be back-up, like what happened to Delly. The Sixers are again going to be the bottom of the bottom teams, and with Scottie likely going to struggle to get in the rotation because Philly already do have Wroten, Canaan looks like it will take a miracle that he does not get squeezed out of the league.

omphalosParticipantWatched Wilbekin a few times during his stint in the Australian NBL last season.
He was a very solid player but didn’t seem great at any one thing. I’m pretty surprised he got called up to the NBA to be honest.
That said, he seemed like a real leader on the court and that’s something Philly is desperately lacking, so could be a good locker room presence for the young team, even if he doesn’t play that much.

European BasketballerParticipantHe was fairly average player at best in Greek League last season. So fact he makes NBA should be enough to shut up all the haters here that keep saying no players from Greek League can play in NBA.

VRod305ParticipantI absolutely hate him from his college days. I can’t believe I have to root for him and Okafor now.
