The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWell I’ve got a few of my own Ideas
But I’ll start with some floating around in Philadelphia
1. Iguadola for Rudy Gay(with maybe a few future picks involve on Philly’s end)
2.Thad Young for Danilo Galinari
3.Andre Iguadola,Hawes and Meeks plus a future draft pick for Nene/Gallo
4.Lou Williams and Spencer Hawes plus 2nd rounders in 2012/2013 for Chris Kaman’s expiring contract…

festar35ParticipantThe only thing I have heard is that Paul Millsap is on the block. He has been linked to the Pacers and for the right price I would gladly watch him in a Blue and Yellow uniform.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantThe Clippers will trade anyone on their roster, besides Griffin, for Dwight Howard.
Lakers want CP3.
76ers are listening to offers for Iggy..

The Jazz are so pleased with Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors that they are shopping Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard.
Utah isn’t likely to trade both of their veteran big men, as handing their starting frontcourt to Favors and rookie Kanter is a recipe for a long shortened season. Millsap is a more desirable trade asset, not least because he makes $16.7 million over the next two years, compared to Big Al’s $29 million.—————————What is happening in Utah ? Their star PG Williams gets their long term coach jerry sloan sacked, then they get rid of williams anyway. Now unproven Kanter and Favors over Al Jeff and Millsap. I feel sorry for Millsap, he had to wait for boozer to move before getting quality minutes, now they bring in Favors…0 - Posted on: Mon, 11/28/2011 - 8:44pm #610133
r377Participantquote to add to the gossip
Chris Paul would consider signing a contract extension with the Clippers or Knicks, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard.
Broussard goes on to write that the Clippers "like Dwight Howard even more [than Paul] … they will do whatever it takes — outside of trading [Blake] Griffin — to get Howard." He takes as a given that CP3 will leave New Orleans, and also mentions Atlanta and Oklahoma City as wild card contenders to trade for him. This is purely speculative and there are no named sources, so take it with a big grain of salt.0 - Posted on: Mon, 11/28/2011 - 8:48pm #610134
The8thDeadlySinParticipantThe Celtics are not shopping Rondo but would consider trading him for another scoring punch. They want to take some pressure off Pierce.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI was in LA Over the Weekend..And heard that the Lakers are interested in Baron Davis and Rashard Lewis if they are let go…I personally feel that need to get younger and more athletic….
I’m hearing that Memphis is interested in Aaron Brooks….They loved how him played against them ,when he was a Rocket…
Detroit is rumored to be looking for a all star caliber player and might be willing to include Greg Monroe in a package deal to bring 1 to town…
Boston needs a center ,so they’re looking at Tyson Chandler and will try to package Green and Big Baby or offering Ray Allen in return……I really doubt if Dallas will let Chandler leave there…

chevilicousParticipantI don’t understand how the jazz could be pleased with derrick favors and enes kanter considering they’ve been on a gag order and haven’t seen or talked to either one of them over the off season, let alone seen kanter play in 2 years except for a hand full of games in euro league in limited minutes.

Bmore_DCParticipantMillsap and Jefferson on the block…Rondo for the right scorer
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/29/2011 - 8:16am #610193
Bmore_DCParticipantand whats going on in Utah is a rebuilding phase…its not that complicated…getting younger, stockpiling picks and shedding payroll…its not like Millsap and Jefferson are premiere building blocks for the future especially when you took 2 big men in the top 5 of the last 2 drafts….

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWith Jefferson and Millsaps in the starting lineup the Jazz might be in running for the 8th seed..You cant say that if both those guys are gone….
For some reason i cant picture Corbin being the coach beyond this season….

chevilicousParticipantI’m not saying they aren’t the future of the team, I think they know what they are at the very least getting out of favors is defensive tenacity, even if his offensive game doesn’t develop. However to throw out 2 proven veteran players to make room for Kanter to play, who lets face it is really boom or bust at this point, without any training camp and ,extremelly limited play over the last 2 years to go on is flat out foolish. Also to say 2 guys who are 26 yrs old in jefferson and Millsap couldn’t be part of a rebuilding faze is also rather foolish, considering they have probably at least another good 4 years in their primes. Moving one would be smart to shore up playing room for the rooks, but to move the 2 guys from last year that where your top 2 offensive contributors won’t happen.

mamadouParticipantSince they drafted kanter, big al is on the move again IMO.
Millsap 14MD over the next 2 years when it’s 29MD for big al.
Kanter-favors, kanter-millsap, favors-millsap works, needs SF-SG, upgrade at the point or picks.
Their pick, the wariors pick, and maybe a third via trade in the next great draft, you have a chance to build something pretty solid around kanter-favors-hayward-burks with cap space.

r377ParticipantGotta love Danny Ainge, just like his playing days – he always tries hard……..
quote
Sports Illustrated is reporting that Celtics GM Danny Ainge desperately covets Chris Paul, which is where the earlier report about trading Rajon Rondo came from.
Sam Amick writes that Ainge would like to trade Rondo for Paul and is even trying to bring in a third team to help facilitate a deal. Rondo still has four years and $46 million left on his contract, while Paul’s contract runs out this year. He’d have to sign an extension for the Celtics to pull the trigger, but the real problem is the old age of Paul’s new prospective teammates. And it feels like Paul is focused squarely on the Knicks at this point. In other words, don’t count on seeing Paul wearing Celtics green.0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/29/2011 - 8:37pm #610419
iguapops420ParticipantAnd apparently now The Nets are preparing to offer Lopez, 2 first round picks, and absorb the contract of Hedo. If this were possible to go down, Brooklyn could very well be off to a BEAUTIFUL start.
Deron/Farmar
Morrow/Brooks/Bogdanovic
James/Turkoglu/S.Graham
Humphries/B.Wright/J.Williams
Dwight/Petro/Gadzuric
You could put a handful of turds and team them up with D-Will/Dwight and come up with AT LEAST one finals appearance IMO

marcusfizer21ParticipantThere is a headline on SI.com about a swap with Rondo for CP3 but Dell Demps wouldn’t agree to the deal unless there’s a third team involved…

SwatLakeCityParticipantI think chevilicous is dead on. Utah is not going to trade both of their top two offensive guys just make room for Kanter and Favors. One of them is on Boom or Bust radar (Kanter), the other should be great based on his workouts/development during the extremely long offseason. So the question is between Jefferson and Millsap who is better suited to trade. They aren’t giving up both, that would be a recipe for disaster. Utah is looking towards the future but they are not going to sacrifice the present in order to do that. They want to make the playoffs as soon as possible and want to be in the lottery as few times as possible not year in and year out like the Wolves or the Clippers.
Which lineup do you think is better: Kanter, Favors, Hayward, Miles, Harris or Jefferson, Favors, Hayward, Miles, Harris. Its obvious the second one is better, therefore you trade Millsap because he is not as good as Jefferson. Jefferson is more valuable towards the future than Millsap is.
Although I would not look to trade Millsap now, I would wait until the trade deadline to do it, in order to see if the new players (Kanter and Burks) can gell with the rest of the team.
