r377ParticipantBack not too long ago, players used to pride themselves on playing 82 games in a season.
Karl Malone, Laimbeer, even skinny Stockton and Reggie Miller were quite durable.
In recent years Andre Miller did quite well.
In this day and age of tanking, rest days, "flu like symptoms" RSI from twittering on your phone most of the day is there any modern day iron men ? Andre Drummond isn’t too bad…

cohenbc1ParticipantPatty Mills has played in every game this season, and in 80 or more games three of the previous four seasons.

RicoParticipantDeAndre Jordan has only missed about 12 games in the last 8 seasons.

HitsterParticipantA.C Green was the most legendary NBA iron man playing 1192 consecutive games and only ever missed 3 games in a 1281 game NBA career. Plus he was a damn good player winning titles with the Laker during the “Showtime” area and then returning to be part of the first Shaq/Kobe title.
Tristan Thompson had a 447 game run up towards the end of last season and Corey Brewer recently got to 317 games before his streak ended.
KG missed under a dozen games in under his first decade in the NBA and D12 only missed 4 games in his first 6 seasons from the top of my head.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantWhen you consider the toll that basketball takes on the body in comparison to baseball and that there are only 82 games in a season I’d actually say that AC Greens streak is more impressive than Ripken’s. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that is one record that will probably stand for a long time.

redsoxfreak724ParticipantI know Damian Lillard played in (and started) the first 275 games of his career including all 82 his first 3 years. Looks like he’s only missed 20 regular season games so far out of a possible 479. Nowhere near AC Green level but impressive nonetheless

OhCanada-ParticipantDemar Derozan played in every game this season except for tonights. Pretty good for an Allstar. To be fair Toronto has pretty much won the Eastern conference they just need at least 6 more wins with 12 games left to clinch so he desereves a rest considering they fly from Orlando to Cleveland to play the Cavs tommorow night.

HitsterParticipantYep, teams will sit players from games especially against already eliminated teams with only around 10 games left this season. The NBA doesn’t like it but when lottery teams waive players to play scrubs or younger guys, it’s almost the same.

ChoppyParticipantTayshaun Prince had a pretty long streak there for the Pistons at one point. 496 games until a back injury caused him to miss one. Was pretty durable for a skinny wing. Not too many these days.

whiteflashParticipantSurprised Westbrook hasn’t been mentioned, ’cause up until that Beverly cheap shot a couple of years ago he’d never missed a game dating back to middle school, which is insane.
I agree with whoever said that A.C. Green’ s streak is more impressive than Ripken’s, and honestly don’t feel it’s that close. Green played PF during the most physical era in league history. To not miss a game for damn near 15 years with ANYTHING (sprained ankle, sore ribs, flu, etc…) is astounding.
Think Lillard’s missed a few games this year but know he had a pretty good streak going.
