Anthony Randolph to the Timberwolves

What do you think what type of trade will go down? Will their picks be swapped in the trade?

Possible trade

I would have to think that the warriors want to get Cousins and they think that he will ge gone by the 6th pick.
Randolf wouldn't be a bad player to have, he can play sf,pf and center ( if necessary).

The reports are that the

The reports are that the Wolves are very interested and have been monitoring his off-season workouts. The Warriors are asking for a high price though. I have no idea what type of trade will go down, if one even goes down at all.

From what has been said

From what has been said through the local media here in MN, the deal is contingent on the Warriors being able to select Wes Johnson with the 6th and the Wolves being able to select Cousins with the the 4th pick. They would then swap picks with Anthony Randolph also going to the Wolves. I've even heard some rumblings of Paul George possibly being a target at #6 for the Wolves too.

Man seeing all this stuff

Man seeing all this stuff vexes me. I'm hearing first minny wants to move up by trading with philly so they could potentially get cousins. Then i hear minny will trade 2 first round picks to philly to move up, and now this. I really hope it doesnt happen. I'm a kings fan and would absolutely love the ability to draft demarcus cousins. I wonder how much sense that would make for minny though. They get randolph and they still are without a good center, they'd be decent with jefferson, randolph and love up front, but theyd still lack the perimeter scoring punch that they were supposedly looking to fill. I don't feel like wes johnson won't be available at this point for minny either but i could be wrong. As long as it doesnt happen. I'm not particularly high on randolph and i don't think he'll meet his potential because he looks tremendously lazy, but i could care less. If the kings end up with cousins i'll throw a party

If Sacramento got Cousins I

If Sacramento got Cousins I think him and Tyreke could make them a playoff team before to long. Myabe 3 years of solid drafting and signing.

Definitely. I think the only

Definitely. I think the only reason we'd miss the playoffs next year is because of how tough it is out west. We'd be a sureshot in the east. I still feel we need someone that can play small forward and be an effective slasher/shooter just until omri casspi gets to where he needs to be to be a consistent starter for us.

Whether it'd be Randolph or not

David Kahn is cooking up some trade scenarios and most likely, it will happen on draft night... He hasn't really impressed me that much but if he makes a real interesting deal like getting Turner... Then maybe I'll consider taking back everything I said about his unimpressive stint byfar...

Not drafting Curry is a big

Not drafting Curry is a big mistake, but trading two reserves in Foye and Miller for the 5th pick was pretty phenomenal even though Rubio didn't come here.

Until Rubio value decreases

Until Rubio value decreases that move is this ungradeable. The Johnny Flynn pick is questionable though. I like Randolph but considering MInny Has Jefferson, I would try to move up and get Turner, but if they deal does not happy, getting Johnson and Randolph is not bad.

Philly is asking too much for

Philly is asking too much for MN to move up, I highly doubt the Wolves get Turner unless, barring the unexpected, they're able to draft Turner out right. Rubio may not be here, but trading two busters in Miller and Foye for a Top 5 pick is unbelievable. Neither would've been resigned this offseason.

draft night

Nothing will happen until the draft. Kahn is going to be burning up the phones and we'll see what happens then. He can't bank on a Turner deal happening so he's going to create as many scenarios as possible.

Trading away the Top 4 pick

Trading away the Top 4 pick is really a bad idea, "unless" they really like Monroe and see something he can bring to the floor that Cousins can, but if they are gonna trade there chance at getting Cousins a dominate center for Wes Johnson and Anthony Randolph they maybe getting more value but successful NBA Franchises are built around Centers and/or dominate 2 gaurds not Tweeners.

No

If you really think the #4 pick is fair value for Randolph and #6, you are a dunce. If this trade were to happen, a huge IF because of the ownership change, there would need to be either Kevin Love or Ryan Gomes involved. As a Warrior fan, I'd nix this trade. The 3rd year of a players career is very telling on how good they can be. With all the potential, they gotta give Randolph one more season. I think any trade Golden State makes will be minor... Not salary minor, but talent minor.

I agree that Minni gets more

I agree that Minni gets more value but G-State gets the best player.A Center is the hardest player to find let alone a potentially dominate one.

I think regardless as to

I think regardless as to whether there is an ownership change in golden state or not, they'll be the same run and gun team only because i don't think that don nelson will be gone and therefore i think that golden state will draft wes johnson and if he's not available they'll take aminu. Nelson won't have a place for cousins because of his uptempo play and i don't think that nelson is going to change his style of coaching all of a sudden either.

GSWMasterMind, don't hate the

GSWMasterMind, don't hate the messenger hate your team's Front Office, this isn't a made up trade scenario, it was on ESPN and various other media outlets. Your team obviously isn't as high on Randolph as you.

Do you think

Do you think Love and the 16th pick would be fare for Randolph and the 6th pick? I mean Love has been the better player so far. Dont bite my head off for saying this lol. Just let me know what you think.

To caleb-nelson64; if golden

To caleb-nelson64; if golden state did that they'd be incredibly stupid. I don't care for randolph but his upside is much higher than love's. Love is probably producing his best right now and can't get a whole lot better. Maybe he could become a better mid range or even long range shooter but he'll basically be a brad miller for his career; a serviceable, borderline all-star for a couple years. And to swap those picks? Really? That would be an absolutely terrible way for the new ownership to start for golden state.

It's a BS rumor started by a writer in San Jose named Tim Kawakami or as a W's fan call him crapakami. he started this rumor when he through out random trade ideas and espn picked up on it and called it a story

Sacphil

Sacphil thanks for the feed back. And yes i understand that Love may not get any better. But he is way better then AR is right now. And i was not saying this would happen i was just saying do you think it could happen. So what trade do you think would work (this is mostly for sacphil, But anyone else can say what they think)

Never Said

Never said it was made up, just think it is purely speculation. I really don't think anything will happen there involving Randolph for Love. And trust me, I do hate their front office. Im stoked for the sale. I think that Nelson will be gone by 20 games into the season at the latest, so the #6 pick will be best player available, not necessarily the one that fits the system best.

I think it is the first sign

I think it is the first sign that Golden State is aware of itself being on the fast path to nowhere, and make an active move towards addressing the problem. If they move up to four, they assure themselves the opportunity to come away with either Cousins, Favors, or Monroe. If some teams wants to be infatuated with a guy with no strength and a low basketball IQ, then it is a formula to be bad for a long time. Sometimes people need to look at the teams in the Finals, or teams in the conference finals, and then use them as the barometer for what awful teams are doing. The Lakers and Celtics don't have an Anthony Randolph. He is not that good, and players like him come into the league more often than Monroe or Cousins.

The Warriors want a solid big

The Warriors want a solid big me, other than scrubs, Curry Ellis Cousins, could possible be a playoff team, if they would every play defense.
