B FreeParticipantI would not, his lack of bulk, and narrow shoulders and his insane hype scream bust to me.

Toronto16ParticipantBut he will not be a bust, so this thread is irrelevant.

BasterdInABasketParticipantDepends what your expectations are of him… If you want him to develop into a 25 pt scorer and top 10 player in the league then youll see him as a bust. I see him more of a 16-10-2.5 block and someone with a great motor and just wants to win. I think a player like that is worth a top 3 pick.

B FreeParticipantI guess, the problem is you have realistic expctations I think most people see a Kevin Garnet, 20-10 type guy, I just don’t see it.

F_DA_POParticipantYeah I would be surprised. I don’t think he will be a top 10 player, but he’s clearly the most talented player in the draft right now. You can’t really compare him to any NBA player and you can’t expect him to put up certain numbers. Like another guy said, he seems well worth a top 3 pick because of his motor and good attitude. It seems like the only guys who are busts that are athletic big men in the lottery are the ones with poor work ethic and bad attitudes. Or they were just never that great to begin with and got drafted because of potential. If his biggest question mark is whether or not he can get bigger, that’s a good thing while Drummond still needs to learn how to even play the game. I think Drummond is the bigger potential bust.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantThe thing alot of people hasnt semm ed to realize about Davis yet, is thatcoach Cal rarely runs plays for him,but yet he’s still averaging 14 pts, despite playing with other talented players and a shoot 1st point guard…Davis is averaging the almost the exact amount of points that Austin Rivers and Rivers is his team’s 1st option and he has the ball in his hands much more…Davis has a nice shooting toouch ,a jump hook and a face-up game…He’s a bright kid and always at the right place at the right time…And playing on the perimeter will only help him at the next level..And now he’s improving his post game…He’s going to surprise alot of people with his scoring at the next level…

Krypt14ParticipantI would be surprised. He can influence games without scoring which is always a good quality to have.

B FreeParticipantI’m very interested to see how he plays against UF and Mississippi State, those should be his toughest in conference opponents Patric Young and Arnett Moultrie.

PulseGlazerParticipantIf Thorpe is right and his FLOOR is Camby, how can he really be a bust? Was Camby not worth a top pick? Clearly he was, right? If that’s the floor, then Davis is at least an All Defense stopper.
