Andrew Wiggins chooses getting to Kansas early over Canadian U19 team

As someone who was hoping to check out the JMNT practices and go to the Red/White game, was just given a lot less incentive to do so. Guessing Trey Lyles may be at the Red/White (Tuesday June 11, 7:30 pm @ Ryerson's Kerr Hall), though I believe he is spending this weekend playing in a tournament with Indiana Elite. No word on Tyler Ennis and Xavier Rathan-Mayes, guessing they should both be available. Chris Egi, Kevin Zabo and Marial Shayok all should be around as well, will be new additions to the Junior Mens level after playing for the Cadet squad last year. Also, Justin Jackson is on the training camp roster and could possibly move up while still being eligible for the U16 team.

Wiggins still has a very bright future for Canada Basketball, guessing he will be available in 2014 if the Senior Men qualify for the World Cup (formerly known as the World Championships). Seems like this was his decision, cannot blame him, just bummed that we will not get to see him put up huge games at the U19 level.

Yea, If they had the top 12

Yea, If they had the top 12 to 15 international basketball teams along with the top 12 to 15 national basketball teams it would be great. They already have a lot of old teams in the game. That would help americans see foreign teams and it would be good for the overall growth of the NBA. FIFA the game did that for americans who never watched european soccer it got them informed about the players and teams and the game overall.

I might show up too. I

I might show up too. I strongly believe Ennis is a huge NBA talent he reminds me of Deron Williams at Illinois. Trey Lyles probably has the best offensive repertoire for any PF his age in the world. The guy is a rebounding machine and should be an impact player for whatever team recruits him. Mikey V is this a good setting for signatures?

I would say no

At least not after the practices. I tend to leave the guys alone though and would probably only talk to them if given the opportunity. Last year during the practices the media/family/fans were up on a higher level with the JMNT guys playing on a level below us, thus making it difficult to get autographs. I think the Red/White game might be a more laid back setting honestly, as it is sort of like an All-Star game and a fan friendly type thing. Though, am not sure. Either way, you could try, just did not see any autograph signing last year.
