Andre Iguodala?

Will Iguodala be traded now that theres a new CBA? I remember the rumor was the Clips sending Kaman for Iguodala. Apparently the Sixers were asking for Aminu also and Clippers didn't really want to include him. Do you see Iguodala getting traded to the Clippers or any other team now that we know what the new CBA will look like assuming its ratified? Discuss.

Clippers WANT to do that, but

Clippers WANT to do that, but the Sixers do not want too. I would much rather have Iggy than an often injured center. I'd love to see Iggy with the Clippers, but I doubt it happens

IF I'm the Clippers, I save

IF I'm the Clippers, I save Kaman's expiring contract and young prospects, and go after Chris Paul.

Thats the ideal plan

Thats the ideal plan IndianaBasketball, but doubt it will happen. Kaman, Bledsoe, Wolves #1, Aminu for Paul seems like a good deal. They could also add Mo Williams as well as Ariza/Okafor too. Paul, Gordon, Ariza, Griffin, and Jordan? Scary

i say the Clips keep Kaman

i say the Clips keep Kaman till the deadline...if they are looking at the playoffs then keep him, but if their season is over then trade him to a contender for some draft picks and young prospects...

@Bmore. The Clippers do not

@Bmore. The Clippers do not want any young prospects or draft picks. They would trade Kaman for a good small forward, but I hope they are going to save him for a superstar as a $$ filler

Iggy is a Top 5 Sf...Kaman and Aminu aint worth a Top 5 Sf...

As A Sixer fan I don't want the GM to trade Iggy and I seriously doubt he would, If low ball offers like Chris Kaman and Al Faaroq Aminu are being tossed around, with the Amnesty clause and Nocioni's expiring contract the Sixers could clear space in a Hurry, why would they Trade away their best perimeter defender...They played the Miami Heat and actually lead be double digits in all of the games in the First Round hard because they could defend Wade and Lebron with 4 good defenders(Holiday,Iggy,Turner and Thad)

The Clippers are draeming if they Think they are getting Chris Paul...So any offer made by the Clippers would be in Vain...Aminu and Bledsoe aren't 5 Star Prospect, they're probally both 3 Star prospect's, Kaman's expiring contract and injury prone body are useless to the League Owned Hornets(who they hope to sell to a prospective ownership group soon)If they trade Chris Paul it won't be until they can absolutly get a 5 Star player or prospect in Return...And the T Wolves draft pick people look at as gold won't be as High as a lot of you think...They have a loaded roster on offense now that Rick Adelman is the Coach, he's made a contender with less over night...If the Wolves look like the Webber/Divac Kings this year don't be too suprised...Im actually picking them as the 8th seed in the playoffs this season, they'll take The Hornets spot...

@ Oh Canada, No the Amnesty clause makes players like IGGY

Untouchable...why trade Iggy to clear cap if your The Sixers if you have Elton Brand on the Roster, who you can cut with The Amnesty Clause...The Sixers aren't Trading Iguadola...

@Scare Crow

I agree with you on all counts except that last part about the Wolves being the 8 seed. They're at least another year away from that. With an actually competent coach now in MN, they aren't likely to be in last place of the league anymore.. But also they just aren't quite at that playoff level YET. Rick Adelman will finally unleash their offense and let them fast break more. With the athleticism on that team, that'll be more than good enough to earn them high 20-mid 30 wins this season (in terms if it were an 82 game season, but I plainly do not want to do that math lol).

Iggy trade

If I was the Sixers GM I would gladly trade Iggy to the Clippers for their best pick in this draft. I'm not sure how much I want Kaman coming in with us drafting Vucevic. Kinda want to see what the kid has.

@ apb why would you trade Iggy for the 12th or 16th pick

If the Wolves and Clippers are supposedly making huge strides in the right direction, why would you think a late lottery pick is worth a top 5 SF???...who are you drafting at 12 through 16 that makes losing IGGY acceptable as a Sixers fan...I swear people can't see the bigger picture...I love prospects like Micheal Kidd Gilchrist and Terrence Jones but I wouldn't trade Iggy unless I knew for sure I could A) Draft one Them after a long evaluation B) Get something more than one of these Guy...

And @ kngojc

The wolves are going to look very good this year. with Adelman at the healm of that Offensive system...He's got big Point guard that has great passing ability,Think a bigger Jason Williams, A defensive 2 G with a sneaky good corner 3 pointer ala Doug Christie, he's got a face up 4 and passing big man with Range at the 5 in the mold of Webber and Divac in Micheal Beasley and Kevin Love...They've also got a nice surrounded cast of young and old slashers and shooters, and they have some size at C with Miller,Darko and Pekovic at Back up Center, Derrick Williams will be a wild card this year also as he can play the Sf role and give the Wolves a reasonably big and athlethic frontcourt of next to Beasley...

the Wolves look like a Dark Horse Team in a shortened Season, they are Young, they are athlethic, they are hungry...And they can score...With a coach that has done a great job turning Teams around(See Kings and Rockets) I think this team is flying under the radar, which is a good thing for a gambling man like myself...

@ScareCrow I'll admit I was

@ScareCrow

I'll admit I was never more excited about Wolves basketball in recent history than I was when I heard that they had gotten their man in Adelman. The only problem I see in it is defense. We all know the saying that defense wins championships. The Wolves won't be winning a championship this year, you can quote me on THAT lol. But last year they lost a lot of games that were close down to the wire because their offense got out of sync and their defense couldn't do a damn thing against the other team to stop them from scoring. You'll admit that Kevin Love and Michael Beasely are worthless defenders. Darko and Wes are the only valuable defenders on that team. Rubio... I don't know how he is on the defensive end but I don't see him being strong enough to be a good perimeter defender right now. Overall, they'll put up wins but not enough to be in serious playoff contention, especially in the West.

Mainly because of Iggy's contract. If you can unload that for a 10-18 pick then that's not too bad.

With no defense you can't win

With no defense you can't win championships, but you can win games. This Minny team has a ton of scoring potential, and are pretty deep. Also with less rest days, a young, athletic, deep team could give some upsets to older teams who will be just too tired to keep up. The 8 seed might be a little far out of reach but I can see that pick being in the 8-12 range, so people can forget about those Drummand-Griffen fantasies.

As a Sixer fan, I love my Sixers..Iggy has to go, in order for Evan Turner to get a fair chance to be good..LA for be a good look for him! Kaman and a draft pick is ideal..I would like another young player but, that would be fine..Kaman and Brand did play together well so, that's a good look! A good draft pick would be great as well..Iggy has to go...I would even do Monte Ellis..When Iggy was injured last year, we played well...Just saying..

no training camps + no

no training camps + no preseaon + new coach + new point guard + logjam at forward + no defense = wolves struggling HARD...

this will benefit the older teams...not the younger ones

Exactly Bmore. And the Wolves

Exactly Bmore. And the Wolves are going to play almost double the number of games against the west than the east. They might play wizards, pistons, raps, cavs and bobcats only once. They will be stuck playing Blazers, Thunder, Nuggets, and Jazz much more so a good record is not likely.
