     Who are your favorite analysts and commentators?

    Who are some that are annoying to you?

    Why?

    I am a fan of Clark Kellogg, always have been, because of his humerous "Clark’isms"

    Jay Bilas is very inciteful.

    Two of my favorite however are:

    Len Elmore for being straight unbiased and uncompromised in approach.

    Hubie Brown.  This guy really knows basketball.  He is very good at breaking down X’s and O’s and I like him on the Draft, he is a pretty good scout.

    A guy that always annoyed me is Billy Packer.  He commentates as if players are robots.  He is too critical of what someone should or should not have done.  Every play that is unsuccessful to him was the wrong play.

    Chris Webber.

    He’s easy to listen to and he backs it up with legitimate knowledge of the game.

    Kenny Smith.  He’s hilarious and really knows basketball.  The whole TNT gang is awesome.  Chuck, Kenny an EJ have perfect chemistry on set.  Shaq added to it this year.  I’ve always loved Kenny Smith though.

     CWebb was always one of my favorite players and he is one of my favorite analysts.  His demeanor is so cool and calm and he is able to assess situations beyond X’s and O’s a lot of times.  He is an intelligent guy but he doesnt have to be a loudmouth to get his point across.

     Jeff Van Gundy is the GOAT

    I like Breen and Hubie too

    And if any of you have ever watched a local Knick game, Walt Clyde Frazier is great too

    I LOVE Clarke Kellogg.  Former Pacer and great guy.  The only knock on him is that he’s an Ohio Staye grad.

    Van Gundy amuses me, I like the deadpanning guys.

    Reggie Miller does a good job, though I’m probably biased.

    I like Kevin Harlan for play-by-play.  His voice is awesome.

    It doesn’t get much better than Kenny Smith and Chuck as analysts. Pure comedy.

    Commentators I like Van Gundy and Kerr.

    JVG is a rebel, Hubie Brown is a god, Marc Jackson was great, the entire TNT crew from EJ to Kerr is great BUT

    I hate Mike Breen when he does Knick games, he’s so negative except when talking about Lin/Novak/Fields/Chandler, its like he tries to not be a homer too much

     hey…remember that reality show Dream Job?  Dennis Scott didnt win but he has become pretty successful since.  J.R. Reid and Darryl Dawkins were pretty amusing to me.

    i like charles barkley a lot…. stephen a smith is cool… tim leger is solid…. i actually like chris webber to….. he brings nice emotion to the game….. for college… i LOVE…. i mean LOVE jay bilas…. dude is funny to and is NOT bias…. bill raffertery is really good to… tho idk what he says after the tip off of every game….. clark kellog is legend and gus johnson…..

    for annoying ones… i dont like steve kerr or reggie that much….. mike fratello is boring and also marv albert…. i dont like marv albert’s voice…..  and oh.. i enjoy mike breen as well….. hubie brown is kinda boring to

     before he was coach at philly, doug collins was a really good commentator. i swear he was psychic as far as what was gonna happen next.

    Chick Hearn was the play by play announcer of all time. Barkley right now is a pretty funny analyst though, not afraid to speak his mind- even if you don’t agree with him.

     My favorite is Smitty.. Steve Smith is one of those dudes that speaks his mind as well as be your buddy even if you disagree with him.. He always puts a smile in his face and he’s confident in everything he says… 

    Anybody who isn’t Eric Snow is always appreciated though..lol
