I just have to bring this up. Amare has been killing it lately. He started off so poorly and now is just dominating. He has 6 straight games of 30+ and in his last 14 games he is averaging 29 and 10. The other side of the ball I’ll just prefer to not talk about…

It time for Felton and him to learn each other.  I mean this is a team that has a whole bunch of new faces and Felton has been playing lights out as well and really clicking with Amare on the pick and rolls.  Some games Felton looks like Nash Lite.

its neither amare nor felton, its dantoni and the style of offense they run…. not to bring down either felton or amare because theyre having career years, but before amare tore his retina he was putting up stats like this and was projected to be better than he is now.. and before felton came to the knicks he was on a team that was in the bottom 5 in possessions per game.. both are extremely talented players but amare, felton, and gallo all hugely benefit from the pick and roll that they always run… their outside shhooting is ridiculous which draws doubles and with so many lights out 3pt shooters like gallo, landry fields, and bill walker, they CANNOT go wrong.

I’m happy NY has done well over the past 11 games.

Let’s wait and see until after Jan. NY has a monster test in the next 20 games. I wanna see them after that.

Well actually it is Amare and Felton not every play is a pick n roll or in transition.  Many thought Amare wouldn’t do much w/out Nash.  Amare has been great and easily the best Knick performancne since Ewing in the mid 90’s.  Not just his scoring, 11.5 rebs his list 6 games and he’s had some timely blocks this year.  I figured Felton would be a decent PG but not this productive.  I think its time ppl stop ripping the draft 2 yrs ago when they passed on Jennings he’s not that great 40% shooter with 5.5. asts a game.

This was a nice win at home where they’ve struggling and they came from behind.  Amare had 18 4th qtr wins, Gallo was big 20 pts and 9 rebs.  They’ve had an easy schedule so far but you still have to win these games.  These wins are huge esp. with the tough schedule coming up.  Finally its good to be a Knicks fan again.  The next few weeks should be a good test against the better teams in the league.
