Ray Allen battled bone spurs in his ankle while a member of the Boston Celtics last season, and it appears the problem isn't going away now that he's on the Miami Heat. Speaking to reporters, Allen said that he still expects to have to deal with soreness in his ankle for a long period of time, even though he had surgery over the summer. Allen signed with the Heat over the summer after he wasn't thrilled with the Celtics' contract offer. He has played in all five of the Heat's preseason games.
