Tim49461ParticipantSorry but when this dude got traded to detroit he lived in a casino and literally gambled everyday often gambling a hour before games, getting kicked out of casinos multiple times for reckless behavior. This is just another stupid man trying to say look at how hard my life his and i still made…..NO ONE CARES, there will always be someone with a life harder then yours. Yet the Urban community wants the struggle yet complains when they aren’t helped.

JNixonParticipantBut he was giving 2 kids a scholarship, why didnt you mentioned that? You talk about him in the casino. You talk about the “urban” community. You have no idea what your talking about. Nobody wants to live poor. Nobody praises living poor except people that aren’t poor and want to be ghetto.Yes, gambling isnt a good thing when you’re addicted to it, but lets look past judging him when your not perfect. He does things for the community, but all everyone talks about is him being in trouble

j1232eParticipantI have no respect for the man any more. I mean come on instead of coming of the bench to help a team be better, that little punk iverson refused to play the rest of the season. Iverson would you ewant him on your team HELL NO! retire.

esperanzafleet69Participantyes iverson did live in the casino but i still think he can be one of the nba’s top 5 scorers…. people just give him terrible cred because he wouldnt come off the bench behind rip hamilton…. and u know what… i live in detroit and i think iverson was completely right…. rip cannot do ANYTHING as far as creating his own shots.. sure he can move well without the ball but without chauncy thats a different story.. also the coaching situation there was a debacle with michael curry being a first year coach trying to handle iverson sheed rip…. if iverson can get on the bobcats he can reestablish himself as an elite player then get a better deal and role… the pistons were just too stubborn to give him a real chance..

Meditated StatesParticipantThats why the coach got fired. He is better than Stuckey just start him at the point and play Rip next to him simple coach logic. Curry was an idiot. Tim49461 you have some issues with people from the inner city or black people you need to work on. You were stereotyping in your comments son. Thats not cool. Slow your roll and watch your mouth.
