Michael.S.ParticipantDo you guys remember how athletic this guy was? I was watching the re-run of the 2003 allstar game on NBA tv, and i wanted to post this…He is probably the most athletic 6-0 or under star ever and the fastest player ever too….Agree?

JoeWolf1he was pretty amazing, his Georgetown highlight reels are very impressive, I hadn’t seen a 6′ guy do game dunks like that in quite some time

M-DYMESParticipantEasily one of the most athletic players. Many experts think that he could have gone to the NFL too. He was one of the top HS players in the nation at the time. I guess he made the right choice tho. Being from Philly, I know he’s the sole reason people showed up to the Sixers games in the 90s. Every night was a show.

llperezyeah, as recently as 2004 when nash won his first mvp, i thought iverson should have won mvp. He was able to get whatever shot he wanted and could get in the lane at will. He would takeover games and is an all time great sg in this league. I read some sports journalists saying a few months ago that iverson in his prime was better then any season wade has had so far. I would have to agree.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI used to love watching Iverson on the fast break… He was relentless, especially when he had you backpedaling. Other than Jordan and Kobe, the prime Iverson was probably the most amazing player I’d ever seen… Considering what he was able to do with his size.

knicksfan7ParticipantImagine if players had the heart that Iverson played with. Say what you want about his attitude, but he played hurt when if he sat out fans and coaches and other players would understand. Imagine if he had a team around him, Kobe and Shaq had each other, Jordan had Pippen, Duncan and David Robinson and then Parker and Manu, Wade had Shaq as well. Iverson had umm Larry Hughes? Aaron McKie? Dikembe? Iverson did some things on the court that we won’t see for a long long time.
