Can this be part of the picks competition?

Team New York (3 competitors there, I’ll bet they’re the ones taking it most seriously)

    Deron Williams

    James Jones-shoots a 22 in the finals, I predict

jeremy Evans (I’m gonna buy into all this hype you guys give him on here and say he introduces himself to the not-hard core NBA fan)

The shooting stars always seem to come down to who makes the half court shot quicker and that’s quite unpredictable

I would have made it part of the Pick the Win challenge but I hadn’t notified anybody ahead of time so it wouldn’t exactly be fair lmao

I’m with you on the Chase Budinger pick, but I still an’t help to think that he accidently applied for the dunk contest when he meant to be in the Three Point Shootout.

I had my man Steph, but I’m glad he chose to rest that ankle/foot. I like Tony Parker to win it as well, but don’t sleep on John Wall, he’s my second fav. The only reason I don’t have him as my winner is because of the jumpshot. Tony Parker is underatedly fast, has great touch with his passes, and can knock down the shot. Don’t sleep on Rubio. He could easily get into the second round and steal one, and Deron Williams is also someone who can steal the show.

For the Three point shootout, I love Morrow and Love, but I’ll go with Durant to surprise us.

And team Orlando has the shooters, even if Nelson has been off, and Steve and Kenny and Houston were all great three point shooters, I’ll go with Dennis Scott and Nelson, and hteir WNBA counterpart. They should have a Team Indiana, let us see what Reggie Has left in him, lol.

Skills: Iriving is going to ride the hype from his game last night and leave Amway Arena with 2 trophies

    3-Point: James Jones

Dunk Contest: Derrick Williams or Paul George (something tells me Mt. Hibbert is going to get involved)

^Yeah, I know, and the funny thing is that a couple weeks ago when TNT showed the Sac-OKC game and they were talking about how the Lakers are going to retire Shaq’s jersey, and how C-Webb’s jersey is retired in Sac-town, he started saying how he was wondering when they’d retire his jersey, lol.

Kenny Smith is an AWFUL announcer, and he was so annoying when he was trying to hype up Blake Griffin’s dunk over the car last year. But I don’t mind him as a commentator. When you get over his bad jokes and how annoying he is, he has some pretty insightful views.

I’ve got Kyrie Irving in the skills competition.  He looks like the prototype point guard.  An understated Chris Paul.

Dunk contest champ pick is Paul George.  Long, strong, tall, and athletic with flair.  That should help.

Is Ricky Rubio going to be passing the ball to Derrick Williams? If so, Rubio’s
passes could be the highlight of the dunk contest.

This dunk contest has no hype so expectations are low. Hopefully we will be pleasantly
surprised. There are no superstars so we won’t have an Iggy or Javale McGhee get jobbed
like in past competitions. These guys will play to the crowd with the best dunker winning.

Team New York- Allen Houston still may be the best shooter in that challenge.

    Kid Kyrie beating Deron

How did Durant get in and where did Joe Johnson go?  I think Ryan Anderson wins because he don’t get much elevation on his shot so that works to his advantage because he won’t get tired quick.

Lin said that he was gonna throw the ball up to Shumpert and he windmilled it dunking over a couch.  Too bad he’s not in it.  Now I’m going with Budinger because it’s fan voted and everybody loves white people in dunk contest.  Plus he may have the highest vert in the contest, I’m not sure of Evans vert tho it might be higher, but I know Budinger’s vert is higher then Williams and George’s.  Jeremy Evans got the longest wingspan and a huge vert tho so he could take it home.

And when are they going to add the Foul Shooting contest?

     Shooting stars: Knicks

Skills Challenge: I would say rondo but i feel the 3pt shot might give him a few seconds of trouble so im saying Deron Williams

3pt shootout: Anthony Morrow (best 3pt shooter since steve kerr)

    dunk contest: Paul George
