Aleksandar Vezenkov Turns Down Xavier To Play In Higher Level Greek League

Aleksandar Vezenkov turned down the offers of both Xavier University and Olympiacos and re-signed with Aris.

He wanted more playing time than Olympiacos could offer, and he wanted a high level of competition, which Xavier could not offer him.

Terrible decision

A terrible decision, he was a second rounder and now even if he got drafted, he'd most likely be a draft & stash player

It is likely the best choice

It is likely the best choice for him financially, anyway.

Being drafted in the second round doesn't guarantee him money.

He isn't by any means a "can't miss prospect"...
