i’m a big twolves fan, and i am hoping that we take D. Cousins with the 4th pick and try to trade Al Jefferson for somebody. I was wondering who we could get for him.

the best situation would probably be Al Jefferson for Andre Igoudala.
another situation that would be attractive is loul Deng.
finally maybe we could package Al Jefferson our 2nd first round pick and Corey Brewer for Danny Granger.

any of these options would best suit the Twolves.

what else do you think that they could do?

Love and Cousins is a bullish frontcourt strength wise but too unathletic for my taste…Maybe trade al Jefferson straight up for a top 5 pick and keep their pick….Two top 5 picks that they can use on Wes Johnson-Evan Turner, and Favors-Whiteside or whoever.

i think iggy for jefferson would be sweet.. then draft cousins… id watch a lot more timberwolves games..

or they could try to trade up with 2 of their 3 lower first round picks they have to get cousins and something like aminu or johnson…

I really think that Kahn is going to push the Sixers hard and try to end up with the number 2 pick so they can land Turner. I think trading their number 4 and 16 to the Sixers for number 2 could work. The Sixers don’t really have a pressing need for Turner and Kahn has made it pretty clear that Turner has been the Wolves main target during this whole process.

If the wolves is going to make a move with Philly, their not going to make a move for Iggy, it’s going to be for Turner. I think the wolves should just stay where they are and Draft Wes Johnson. He’s going to be the next best thing that they need after Turner. Also, they should make a move up into the lottery for a guy like Cousins, Monroe, Alidrich, or Whiteside.

I’ll say, give Utah their trade back along with Love, and try and get Aldrich. Then spend big bucks in the FA and try to get Rudy Gay. Just imagine the following;

Flynn, Session
Gay, Brewer
Wes Johnson, Gomes
Al Jefferson, Udoh(16th pick),2nd round(PF), (Darko)
Darko, Aldrich, and Hollins

Not sure how this makes TWolves better by replace Al Jefferson with Demarcus Cousins. Their somewhat similar and brings the same strengths and weakness defensively. Although Cousins would obviously be cheaper, but still, not sure how it makes the TWolves a better team.

Replacing Jefferson with Cousins makes the Wolves a better team because they would get a legit SF from the Jefferson trade.

I think that Kahn is going to make a push to trade with Philly for the #2. It depends on how the Sixers view Turner vs Cousins/Favors. I would think they would be smart to try and dump Brand’s contract in any trade. Brand and the #2 for Jefferson, Wilkins, and the #4. Not sure if I do it if I am Philly, would much rather take Turner.

if i were Kahn i will do this:
Philadelphia is in the luxury tax, they will want to save money, so i think this trade could be made:
Philadelphia gives: #2 pick, Sam Dalembert
Minnesota gives: #4, Kevin Love
this way Philadelphia gets a young talanted bigman and save a lot of money for dropping 2 spot in the draft.

then i will trade Ricky Rubio, Wayne Ellington, Corey Brewer to Indiana for the #10 pick and Brandon Rush. Indiana will get their PG for the future, he will come in 2011 when they have a lot cap space and they will start their rebuilding with him. Minnesota have no need in Rubio if they have Turner so this way they get good deal for him.

then my draft will be:
#2 Evan Turner
#10 Avery Bradley
#16 Paul George
#23 Larry Sanders
#45 Da’Sean Butler

i will also bring Nikola Pekovic from Europe this summer.

this will give Minnesota amazing talanted young team, with cap space for the 2011 summer.
