Let’s say Aaron Gordon who is said to be 6’8 measures out to 6’10 how much does his stock increase. Remember when kemba walker was said to be 5"11 but measured out as 6"1 and Kyrie Irving was said to be 6’1 but measured out to be 6’3? My question is does gordon go from top 15 to top 5 pick ?

ballislyfe25ParticipantMost people would be surprised if Gordon fell to the 10th pick so it’s safe to say he’s firmly in the top 10. However, if he measured 6’10 he would probably rise into most teams’ top 5 and be the top power forward available over Randle and Vonleh. I’m sure a handful of teams already have him in the top 5.
At 6’10 his skill set would translate so well to the league. He is not yet quite the defender Shawn Marion is (not many are), however, I love the comparisons. High-energy, freak athletes, who defend at a high level and do not possess the offensive skill of a top 3 or 4. Both players offensive game has been questioned, but Gordon has already proved he has the ability to hit the 3 and will only continue to improve in that area. At 6’7/6’8 I would want to take a chance with Gordon outside of the top 5 or 6 picks, but at 6’10 I want him over anyone not named Wiggins, Parker, Embiid, and possibly Exum.

Lotto StudParticipantI like him in a situation with Sacramento if they re-sign Isaish Thomas and do not plan on keeping Rudy Gay.

aramboneParticipantThere’s no reason to think Gordon will measure out at 6’10", but Vonleh probably won’t measure out to 6’10" either.
Gordon probably measure out to 6’8.5, and Vonleh 6’9.5, or 6’8.25 barefoot. The 6’10" measurement seems to be without any basis.

aramboneParticipantIs that like when somebody says Marcus Smart COULD really rise IF he measures out at 6’10" at the Combine? In America, we call that silly, not hypothetical. "but you can imagine what it’d be like if they did, right?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8-rGAM_KeA

Z-LegendParticipantTo me, it doesn’t matter how tall he really is, or how high he’ll be picked. I’m sorry, but I’m with those who believe that he won’t be anything more than just an average player, and most likely, will be a bust. He didn’t really show me anything extraordinary during the Cats’ tournament run.

MooooseParticipantIf he measures 6′-10" then his stock will probably improve. I do think he is a top 10 kind of guy and he can solidify his stock when the combine and private workout begins. To me, he’s the most interesting prospect in the lottery with the combination of elite-level athleticism and shooting that he has. The obvious comparison is Blake Griffn, but he’s got more range. Not saying he can be a better player than Blake, but I think he can be somewhere close to a Tim Thomas kind of guy if he sticks to shooting and improving his perimeter shooting.

korousek3ParticipantSaw him in person at the U19 World Championship. He seemed pretty big and I wouldn’t be surprised by 6’10 .

lalailaParticipantthat would change a lot..
big enough long enough for PF his strenghts of ball handling defense and passing would be even greater at that size.. 4th pick in the draft wouldn’t be out of question..
but at the same time.. what if Julius Randle somehow measures 6’10 260 low bodyfat, and good athlete.. possible top3?
