 straight after posting the last idea i thought about my team (wizards!!!!) and what they could use some help with so heres something small that could happen:

Wizards trade: Andre Miller, Glen Rice Jr

Pelicans trade: Austin Rivers, Luke Babbit

 

Gives anthony davis a player who will get him the ball while also gathering another great young piece while giving the wizards a shooter and replacement 2/ backup 1 for john wall who still (even after a couple of bum seasons) has quite a high ceiling (maybe jeff teague like)

 I think the wizards are giving up too much.  They have a proven veteran, who is still a servicable backup in Andre Miller and Glen Rice is a young gun who looks to be tapping into his potenial this preseason.  They can get far more for that pair than an unproven guard with no set position (Rivers, who – no matter how high his ceiling is – hasn’t looked close to tapping into it) and a guy who has only got consistent minutes late last season because his team was depleted by injuries (Babbitt).
