With the 58th pick the Lakers select......
It's not all about height. Look at Derek Fisher who's 6'1".
A triangle PG must handle, make threes and play defense. Must be an effective player OFF THE BALL.
Some of the PGs you mentioned won't be able to do those things in the NBA.
Big Baby is a PF and was a much better prospect/scorer coming out of college than Pittman, Zoubek and Gallon who are Cs. Those guys would not be able to do what Big Baby is doing.
I think they should grab a C or banger at PF like Character,Richards,Booker,Samuels,Jordan or Gallon at 43.
I think they should select a PG with a capable shot and team defense abillities but not much will be left sooo Rautins,Scheyer,Randle,Shved,Reynolds,Clemente.
6'8" 243 PF Dwayne Collins of Miami is the best 2nd round banger, but he'll probably be gone when the Lakers pick at #43.
I think the Lakers need to address the problem at SF where Artest, Walton and Morrison are not getting the job done. Why has so little attention been paid to that?
I like 6'6" Lazar Hayward to the Lakers. Athletic 3-point shooter and defensive specialist.
I also think 6'3" Ben Uzoh and 6'4" Jeremy Lin fit the profile of a triangle PG better than some of the others mentioned.

Dexter Pittman? I think they should honestly draft him if he's there, also Brian Zoubek or Tiny Gallon. They need a reliable back up center for when Bynum get's injured and Odom get's in foul trouble. They need someone that can bang in this inside not on offense but defense. I mean look what big baby did the other night when Bynum only played 2 minutes in the 2nd half.
and I think they should draft a triangle guard with their 43rd pick, like bouldin, rautins, shyved, or My personal favorite for them Grevis Vasquez.
Even though it would be lovely if Born Ready fell to them.
