Maybe I’m thinking too much,but does anyone else find it odd when the bucks picked Lamar Patterson the highlight video showed Cameron Bairstow. Then it quickly changed to Lamar Patterson, I told my friend I was watching the draft with that it would be crazy if he went next to the bulls. Sure enough Cameron Bairstow was the next pick,not sure how espn guessed he was gonna be the pick. Am I thinking too much? In the 2nd round do they submit the picks before they’re  announced?

 I was gonna make a post about this too.. I found it pretty damn strange when a prospect named Lamar  produced a picture and video of a white guy first and foremost. Then it switched. 

Im guessing the Bulls had already submitted their pick and espn simply pressed the wrong que-up button. Thats all i can think of. Anyone else? Its a curious question.

 ha that is funny. I didn’t stay to watch for that long. I left right after the Jazz made their final selection at 35. Maybe I should have stayed to see that mess up. That would have been good laugh and then ends up being a good predictor with the next pick. Oh well.

 yeah, i honestly never figured the picks were known by espn in advance of them being announced, but that gaf pretty much confirmed it. The picks are submitted before being shown live.

 The draft had a time window to fill.  They have to stretch it out for the full 3 hours or whatever it is.  Drafting could have been done an hour early but since they reserved this timeslot, they need to drag it out.  Nothing scary going on here..

I switched over to the Celtics’ local station and the owner said they actually know the picks three minutes before the announcement….this could explain the screwup
