tennislegendParticipantHow high will Jevon Carter go in the draft? He seems ok offensively and can definitely defend could he go first round? I doubt it; but should he?
Is brunson a potential NBA starter? he could win player of the year if Young doesn’t but doesn’t seem to be getting nearly as much interest
Holiday, Carr, Milton, Alkins they seem to be somewhat underated to in my opinion. Thoughts?
Could Young fall out of top 10 with players like Knox, Sexton, Mikal Bridges, and Shai playing so well? I doubt it but maybe.

BallerScriptParticipantYou’ve brought up a lot of points
I’ll just address them one by one1. I think that Jevon Carter will go in the early second round. He’s a hard nosed defender and experienced player. A playoff team could definitely move into that range to grab him. Not much of a prospect but should be able to contribute straight away.
2. Brunson is my POY pick. He has had a very underrated season and I’m disappointed that he hasn’t had as much attention as he deserves. I think he’ll end up last first/early second.
3. Holiday and in particular Alkins are two of my favourites in this class. I love Alkins energy and passion that he brings. Something just screams ‘sixth man’ about Alkins.
4. I’ve read reports that NBA scouts are not very high on Young at all. It will be very interesting to see where he eventually falls. Remember, only one team needs to love him.

Jr. ROXASParticipantJevon Carter can be what VanVleet is to the Raptors to a right team. Heady point guard and a hard-nosed defender. Those two traits are a coache’s dream.
Jontay Porter is too skilled not to be picked top 15. Buttery smooth shooting stroke, excellent IQ/passer and a good shot blocker to boot. Maybe the Wizards get him to replace Gortat?
Also, PJ Washington has impressed me this tournament. Strong and athletic and he plays with fire. The efort should be there consistently though. His shot is a work in progress but it’s not broke. It actually looks good when he releases it. If he declares, I can see him going late first round. He should stay one more year though imo to raise his stock further and develop his shooting.

OhCanada-ParticipantTony Carr is a beast I expect him to be very good pro. I see him as a for sure 1st round pick likely top 20.

kobyzParticipantJevon Carter with all his top notch competitiveness and fighterness, I don’t think he’s nba player, lack of pure talent and phisical profile, he is mirror image as player Gregory Varges who is great international player but not nba type…

kobyzParticipantMetu who just declared look so similar to hawks rookie Collins, but I think not as good, a little lesser version…
