Cleveland (cavsfan1118) is on the clock, simply post who you think should be drafted with a short explanation
I think Noel because with the past 3 picks they have picked players high on the analytics chart. Noel is number one on the list.
What's the time cap?
Let's say 5 minutes
Do I still have the hawks?
Not anymore, we did a whole new draft but you can take the Bobcats if you'd like
Orlando (hylandpt), you're on the clock
With 2nd pick of the 2013 NBA Draft....the Orlando Magic select Victor Olapido
Washington Wizards (AC68Outlaw) are on the clock
I'm giving +1 to anyone who makes a pick cause showing up on time and not ditching should be appluaded.
With the 3rd pick the Wizards pick Cody Zeller. This was a tough call between Len and Zeller, and I thought I would go with Len. Zeller is 7'0, extremely athletic, and has the chance to develop into an All-Star. Zeller will provide pick and pop ability with Wall and hoepfully lives up to the Aldridge/Bosh comparisons.
First surprise of the mock draft comes from the OUTLAW!
Very interested choice here!
The Charlote Bobcats are on the clock. Spacegrass had a meeting so he forfeited the pick and if CavsFanPR doesn't make a selection, I'll make it
With the fourth pick in the 2013 NBA draft, the Charlotte Bobcats select Alex Len from University of Maryland.
The Bobcats are in such disarray, I think they'd love to snag Alex Len with the 4th
They need a lot of help and their big men were really bad last year so you can't argue with this one.
If the cavs go with Noel, he'll probably fall to the bobcats. He's exactly what they need.
The Phoenix Suns (drk3351) are on the clock
With 4th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft the Phoenix Suns select Otto Porter from Georgetown University. He was my third option after Oladipo and Noel and he'll start in Phoenix right away.
The New Orleans Pelicans (anthony_davIS23) are on the clock
I did not know we did a whole new draft board...Did anybody take the NYK? Or do I still have that pick...
You still have NYK
With the 6th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the New Orleans Pelicans select Trey Burke out of the University of Michigan.
anthony_davIS23 is offline but he left a shortlist of players he wanted to take with this pick. (http://nbadraft.net/forum/pelicans-war-room)
I have Trey Burke mocked there as well.
The Sacramento Kings (TheWizard) are on the clock
With the 7th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select Anthony Bennett from UNLV.
With TheWizard offline, I referred to his mock draft where he has Anthony Bennett being taken by the Kings (http://nbadraft.net/nba_mock_drafts/42610)
The Detroit Pistons (jsmitty104) are on the clock
Ben Mclemore, if he's there he will be a Piston. I would love to see this.
I bet Minnesota was hoping McLemore would slip one more spot. Interesting to see how Knight and McLemore play together
I would still be looking for another PG if I was Detroit. Knight is probably best suited as a Combo Guard sixth man. Take one with the 37th pick or a free agent. Maybe resign Calderone.
Getting a lot of peoples #1 rated prospect at 8th overall is typical PIstons.
Minnesota Timberwolves (Fandango) are on the clock
First off, I came from laying out by the pool to do this, so yea.
With the 9th overall pick, Minnesota selects, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope from University of Georgia (my school btw!)
Minnesota needs a wing who can shoot, Caldwell-Pope has the size for a 2-guard and is a good rebounder.
Portland Trailblazers (tdigi) are on the clock
He's not online....and left no war room. BOOO tdigi!
I couldn't get onto the site until now. I'm shattered! And sorry.
I'm in Australia, not sure if that had anything to do with it but it was saying I couldn't connect to the server.
With the 10th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Portland Trailblazers select Michael Carter-Williams.
I think the Blazers going with MCW here would give Lillard more scoring freedom without having to create for others. MCW can guard SGs and play PG on the offensive end while Lillard defends PGs and plays SG on offense
Philadelphia 76ers (Sewok15) are on the clock
With the 11th overall selection the Philadelphia Sixers select CJ McCollum. He is a combo guard who can fill the void left by Lou Williams. He can stretch the floor with shooting and score in the halfcourt which are two things the Sixers really need. They need size as well but nobody justified being picked over CJ at this point.
I have been targeting him for a while and would be pumped if the Sixers were as smart as I am and draft this guy.
Getting a starting shooting guard and letting Holiday defend shooting guards could make that backcourt special.
I would love it. When I was saying there was a drop off after the top 10 it was the top 10 that we mocked minus MCW (who I am not sold on because good point guards that can't shoot are rare), plus McCollum. CJ was top 5 on my big board and is the most NBA ready scorer in this draft. The Sixers desperately need scoring and he can play SG and backup Jrue at PG as well.
I would have went Adams if CJ wasn't there because they need size as I stated. I just think the floor is so much higher for CJ with their ceilings being about the same. CJ comes in ready to contribute while Steven Adams is a major project. This was exactly how I wanted this mock to go down!
The Oklahoma City Thunder (OhCanada-) are on the clock.
are there any more teams available
We don't, sorry man
