im curious to know this as well. I didnt buy it since it made no sense to me to play without knowing the real teams. But once it gets settled, i would like to pick the game up.

I’m waiting for the patch to come out too… This game has a lot of flaws. It’s sloppy and stiff. For the first time ever, I’ve had to play off of the ball defensive because you just can’t move a player laterally on this game.

And the passing needs fixed. The game is slow or something. I can’t explain it.

I know exactly what you’re saying IndianaBasketball. It’s impossible to guard the ball. I only got it cuz it was $30 at Best Buy on Black Friday haha

And I can’t stand playing against the Heat…

People get LeBron and momentum push the ball up the court and right to the damn rim. And my defenders just like stop moving lol. It’s stupid. They back pedal and just like stop or do some wierd movement.

I’m like 75-15 online, but I don’t like this game right now.

I hate the fact that in the blacktop you can only have 5 on 5.  In 2k11 you could have 2-2, 3-3, 4-4 making it great to play if you had 1 or 2 mates around…

 i hate the fact that the Kings will trade you Darnell Jackson and their 2012/2013 first round picks for kwame brown…me and my boy were the Heat and had the #1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 15 picks in the draft…this is insane…

and when you create your own team and use them in association, you cant even do trades…i really feel ripped off

NBA 2k12 has been unaminously voted and scored the best sports sim ever…IGN and GameSpot both gave the gave a 9.5/10 which is unheard of for a sports game Madden only got a 7.8.  Visual Concepts the developers completely rewrote the offensive animations code so no longer will you adjust you’re shot in mid air only for it to hit the back of the backboard and go out of bounds.  The amount of detail put into this game is insane like you can play this game for 100 hours and still not see all of the animations that are coded into this game.  Just go edit and player and you’ll see the sheer amount of detail put into every player from momentum shots, to post shots, to the different dribbling techniques it’s just crazy.

And 2k12 has an awesome Legends mode that recreates some of the most historic games with accurate rosters there is a total of 30 historic teams to unlock combined with the My Player mode to keep fans help over until the rookies are allowed in.

The only ommision of the rosters was that Stern wouldn’t let them put the rookies in until they signed a contract however Ricky Rubio is on the Wolves cuz he signed his contract before the lockout.  

The rookies are gonna be patched through whenever they signed they’re contracts in real life since camp starts tomorrow they’ll probably send the DLC thru next week but it wont take long cuz they’re already created and ready to go.  I can’t wait to get a lil Jimmer Reke DMC going in Sactown on running a break with Rubio while Wes Johnson, Derrick Williams, Beasly and Love flank me.  Or I might just get an association with Kid Kyrie and Tristan and tank the season and draft Drummond, Lamb or Anthony Davis.

 @IndianaBasketball the one thing about the momentum dribble is it was implemented to make the fastbreak more realistic but like in real life when they use in the ball is basically a lose ball because they throw it ahead and chase it ergo if you have a speedy defender they can get a steal on that play pretty easily.  

And are you holding L2 or the left trigger on defense so the defender will get into the defensive stance because I never heard of the problem you’re having.

My only beef with the 2k series and it’s not just this game it’s every game is I have to edit dam near every player in the game because they’re attributes are so far off.  Blake Griffin dunking should be a 99 not a 82, Evan Turner and Wes Johnson both got their own move sets for the momentum shots yet they aren’t attributed it to them they got normal ones so I had to change it.  

Just like mostly everybody on this site we know our players to well to let the simple things slide Like in the game Kevin Durant is listed at  6’9 but he’s actually closer to 7 foot in real life then 6,9 he measured in at 6’9 in socks and 6’11 in shoes when he was 18 and rumor is he added an inch.  So I change that because it takes away the natural length advantage KD got over everyone.
