So I’ve been trying to win a championship.  3 years in, I got my roster to look like this.

A. Stoudemire
M. Speights
Bench: C. Lee, A. Blatche, A. Afflalo

I went 5 years, no championships or finals appearances.

Now I have this team, and after 4 years, I can’t get out of the 2nd round

I can’t seem to win with any team! What can I do?

Simulating is pretty fucked up in in 2K. You can have a beast team and still get a losing record. I think a lot is determined on your coaching settings and gameplans if you don’t have that on auto. I would mess around with the coaching settings and different playbooks then simulate to see what works for your team.

C Random 2nd year center who is 7 4 with bulk

Then I have Dragic (crazy good in that game), Jodie Meeks, Haslem, Varejo (MLE 2nd year) and randomly David West, who i got in a trade even though i dont need him at all, off the bench. I won the title both years. I havent forced any trades, I originally had Love and Salmons, who i packaged for Smith, and Z Bo, who in some confusing trade involving draft picks i got West for.

I have to have a realistic team.  I couldn’t get a franchise wit say the Clippers then trade for Lebron.  There is no way the Heat are trading Lebron.  So I would try and trade something like Kamen and Aminu for Rudy Gay or something realistic.  But the ratings to begin with are all messed up in 2k.  Blake Griffins speed is like a 52.  I edited almost every player in the game.  They are more realistic now.  How is it realistic to have Blake Griffins dunking on a 82?  It’s not so I fixed it.
