It was relatively recently announced that 2K would be adding the 99-00 Blazers, 99-00 Raptors, 00-01 Lakers, 02-03 Mavs, 03-04 Pistons, 07-08 Celtics, and 07-08 Rockets. I believe they said 12 new teams from the last 15 years would be added, so there should be 5 more after these. What teams do you want to see? The first team that comes to mind for me is the 00-01 Kings. I know they were better the next year and have more historical importance, but I just love Jason Williams

 I would think that at least one of the Reggie Miller Pacers teams would be included in that, hard to pick what year they’d go with though. Maybe 1999-2000 since they made the finals that year?

 I would like the pacers but it would be nice to see if they have real historic coaches red Auerbach Larry Bird Pat Riley Phil Jackson KC Jones Bill Fitch guys like that can only make the game better and maybe they include Auerbach’s annual cigar when the Celtics wrapped up the game and were going to win.

Jason Kidd nets team went to back to back finals best pg in the league at that time, should definitely be one of those teams. Kmart and Richard Jefferson were athletically beasts at that time too.

 I have such a good time making a customized draft based season where I add all the best teams that were super loaded mixed with the best teams from today, everyteam ends up with 3 stars from different eras. I find it to be entertaining.

For example my team:

Pg: sophmore Kobe

Sg: i forgot average player

Sf: Antetokounmpo

Pf: Shawn Kemp 

C: Prime Karl mailman Malone

Unfortunately, they only let you play one season in this mode so you cant develop players

 

To answer OP… i wouldnt be mad if they went as recent as the big 3 from boston and Miami… although they might have those in the further future

Well they already have the Celtics championship teams on there. And I replace the bad teams with the stacked historic teams every now and then too, one time I got Jerry West, Wilt, and Dr. J all on the same team

I can remember Reggie saying that was the best chance he has going to the finals again because they had the best perimeter defender in artest, and the best post defender in jermaine.  they have also Stephen Jackson and Jamaal tinsley
