Trae youngs turnover's and

Trae youngs turnover's and silly decisions have really turned him off as a number 1 pick option over someone like Bagley who is as close as a sure thing as you can get.

I feel like he could settle

I feel like he could settle into a Trevor Ariza role best case scenerio but anything past that is pushing it. Ariza is a good player though who has had a solid career its not like Im knocking him.

People are sleeping on

People are sleeping on Michael Porter, jr. Just wait until he gets healthy. 6'9'' with a silky smooth jumper and huge hops...

Mock draft

What happened to having the "make your own mock" feature available throughout the year? It is sad that we have to type out our mock drafts these days. I missed the mock contest last year because I didn't feel like filling out my mock that late in the year as I used to have to just adjust/ fine tune at that point with it being updated throughout the year. I also remember there was talk of even letting people do a mock for the following year ahead of time (smh).

Anyways if you guys wanted to use a mock draft template to post your ideas or just track your mock ideas, they have one over at realgm. It even gives you a spot to make player notes and can either do first round only or full draft mock.

Guys I "like" at/near the

Guys I "like" at/near the top: Porter, Bamba. Mikal Bridges but moreso outside of 5.

Late first: Grayson Allen as your poor man's Harden/Tyreke style 6th man. Jalen Brunson: cheap 3rd string point guard at worst. Middle scenario: this year's Fred Van Vleet.

Guys I am not sold old (especially in the top 3): Ayton, Bagley, Doncic, Young. Although I would take any of those guys at 7. Sexton is another guy I like more at 7-10 than top 5. Same with Jaren Jackson Jr. although maybe like Miles Bridges, he has optimal value at 11-15. Jackson and Bridges SCREAM ideal 3rd bigs.

Young: video game 6th man. Possibly the same with Doncic. But could be a Klay Thompson style 3rd option (somewhat overqualified but maybe not dynamic/athletic enough to be an alpha dog or first class second banana). Ayton: Darryl Dawkins meets Robert Parish meets Patrick Ewing's hype. Bagley: if he is your secondary big then you are in great shape -- although he could have Len Bias What-If Upside.

Bamba: somewhere between Bill Russell and Hasheem Thabeet. More likely: Between Dikembe and Clint Capela. Love the guy after 3 or 4. IDEAL New New NBA athletic 2 way center. Has also hit at least 10 3 pointers this year.

You're Really High on Everybody

Wendell Carter will be closer to Tim Duncan than Al Horford.

Tyus Battle (Josh Richardson) & Aaron Holiday (Will Bynum) will be 2nd round STEALS

Mo Bamba, Kevin Knox and Robert Williams = BUSTS

Heard it here first

^^^ Robert Williams DOES look

^^^

Robert Williams DOES look like a boom/bust guy. Although if you get him at 13 then you at least have an athletic 4. If he is CLOSE to being Antonio McDyess or even high motor Stromile Swift then you win. Swift's problems: ok, other than being on some super bad Grizzlies teams in Vancouver and Memphis: low motor. Came in right before the "small ball" era, that is would have been a better 4 or small ball 5 in today's league. An ideal 3rd big, but was taken 2nd on a Vancouver franchise that was starting to unravel. Now at 13, if you can get a high-motor Stro at the tail end of another small ball era then you have a great value.

Stromile Swift

Swift is a good comparison, but even he played with more energy and had a higher motor than Williams. He's just a long athletic body with no other skill besides shot blocking. I'm thinking he tops out at Biyombo

Reading his bio on this site:

Reading his bio on this site: yeah could be a middling semi-bust. Could be the next Karl Malone. At 13 you roll the dice.
