I was just thinking to myself, have I seen a college team better than this one in the past 15 years. My money says no. Think about it. Your frontcourt consists of Brewer, Noah, Horford, Speights and Richard. That would be a top 5 frontcourt in the NBA right now. That 5 players at 6’9 with 7 foot wingspans. Not too mention the intensity that they brought every single night. I cant think of a single college team that had that kind of talent in almost all of their big men. So I ask you.. who could have beat the Gators in the past 15-20 years?

I thought about them, but theyd have to depend on McCants and Felton to seriously outplay the frount court. You just dont see too many teams with two all-star centers

I think U-Conn could have takent them to be honest.  Okafor, Villenuava in the post and Boone and Armstrong both over 6’10” and playing limited minutes off the bench, plus a big time wing scorer in Ben Gordon and a seasoned low turnover point guard in Marcus Williams.  Those guys aren’t quite as high a profile pros as Noah and Horford, but I think that U-Conn team would take 06-07 Flordia.

The Fab Five were back about 20 yrs ago so they just squeeze in.  The Webber / Howard vs Noah / Horford matchup would be great but michigan would have the backcourt edge with jalen rose and jimmy king….
