Durant. A short season means that they gotta be storming right out the gates. I don’t expect his minutes to drop until the final 5 or so game of the season.

Hmm, I’ll say the Blazers, cause remember thye don’t have to use it now, so I think they’ll at least see what he can do, but in regards to the next team he plays for after he gets cut, the Clips, If they haven’t aquired a big name star yet.

He’ll play around 50-55 games, so to answer your question, yes, he’ll play around 75%-80% of the games

The Clips. If they get Dwight, regardless of who they give up as long as it’s not Blake, than I can see them just amazing us, and breaking the drought.

He will get off to a slow start, but he’ll pick it up soon, and become Kevin Love’s best friend. I see 6 points, 4 assists, and a board or two, in around 18 minutes of play.

Top 5, definatly. He got even faster, has worked on his jumper, and he got taller, and is around Kobe’s height, so he’ll be a great guy to watch. For top 3, I’ll say probably. I don’t think CP3 is at the level he used to be, that knee injury took away allof his explosivness. Now he’s John Stockton without Karl Malone, or even a Hornacek. Deron Williams and DRose are great, and so is Russell Westbrook, and Steve Nash and Rondo I don’t believe are top 3, so I;ll soy most likely, cause I do think he can pass Westbrook.

The rookie that is given the green light and the keys to the car, which is Kyrie Irving, and Tristan Thompson possibly. They are on the longest leash, and will be treated like the two best players on the team.

The Raptors. They play no D, and are just awful as it is.

@aamir, just about everyone who has seen Kobe playing this offseason. Stephen A., Gary Vitti, Tim Grover, Derek Fisher, and even Kobe himself. You forget all of the things Kobe has doen this offseason to get back to peak physical condition. His finger will still be rough, but I’m really not worried about the knee at all. He had the needle injection used for cell growth, and even went and got his knee frozen in Germany which is said to help the body tremendously. Stephen A. even said he was looking youthful as ever with his dunking and lift, 360’s, between the legs and the such. Tim Grover was quoted as saying Kobe is back to full health, will be MVP, and was winning dunk contest’s against rookies he had in for workouts over this summer. And it’s not like he had lost all of his athletisicm or something, he simply doesn’t always use it, which is why he will remain playing at a high level for a little while longer than his body should have allowed(see poster on Emeka Okafor in playoffs). I’m am 100% confident is Kobe this year and with the Lakers aging and seemingly having more trouble scoring, I expect a BIG year from the Black Mamba. A year that makes you question father time completely.

BTW, there is absolutely NO way Kobe only plays 31 mpg. This aint Paul Pierce we’re talking about, LAL doesn’t have the depth tho allow Bean to only run 31 mpg a night. This past year was his worst ever physically with injuries and such and he STILL managed 33 mpg. Kobe doesn’t have it in him to only play 31 pg anyway. Like I said in another thread, Kobe sees everything people are saying about him being old and washed up, and he absolutely LOVES proving people wrong. Don’t be surpirsed if he comes out with a monster season just to prove the haters wrong.

Hmm, ok, I’ll take their word fo rit, cause I honestly want to see Kobe do well. I am a fan of his, and I admire the way he seems to make the most difficult shots seem silky smooth. I think the mysterious German surgery may work, but ok, we’ll see what happens, but show me the footage from the Drew league game, I don’t know if he had gotten his "lift" back by then, but just show me how he is more youthfull and rested in those videos, I think that Hoop mix had a bunch during the summer.

(But I still think that Kobe paid Harden some under the table money to suck on D in that Summer League game, lol.)

And in another sidenote, times have changed we have now shifted into the buddy buddy AAU era, not the "FU I;m better than you" menatality of Kobe and MJ. Mj and Drexler would never go playing flag football like Durant and Lebron did.
