lakers did not extend 1 year qualifying offer to jordan farmar making him unrestricted and apparently indiana is the team most interested in him.

IndianaBasketballParticipantJordan Farmar with the Pacers is something I haven’t considered… Is he better than TJ Ford?

wd40rocksParticipantHow could Farmar be worse than a guy who didn’t play?

IndianaBasketballParticipantFord not playing had nothing to do with his talent or ability to contribute… He had some injuries and was in O’Brien’s doghouse. Those two could never get on the same page and Ford’s game never went well with what O’Brien wanted to do.
I don’t think Farmar is better than Ford. Farmar has a similar tendency to overdribble and he’s a shoot first point guard.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAs a Rockets fan, I would LOVE to see Amar’e and Yao along with Ariza, Kev-Mart, and Aaron Brooks. That’s a STACKED OFFENSIVE line up.. Maybe not so much defensively.

wd40rocksParticipantFord wasn’t just in O’Brien’s doghouse, the entire team “disliked” his style of play. Catch, shoot, then let everyone else play defense didn’t work with the defense-first approach they tried last year. I agree he has talent, but I don’t think he would have played even if he was healthy, ala Jamaal 2 years ago.

I agree with you there. TJ has been a huge disappointment. Jack was close to knocking him out during the 2008-2009 season. At least Farmar would actually be on the floor. I’m with you lol.
