I was extremely excited to find out that the NBA would begin on Christmas and now that I know that there are two games being added, that just adds to the excitement!

Game 1 added: Orlando Magic @ Oklahoma City Thunder

This could be the first game in a while that we see Dwight Howard not playing for the Magic, and not because of technical fouls.  He may be traded this offseason to a brand new team.  There has been a lot of speculation that he will up and leave for a new team, he wants a new team, and that he wants to stay in Orlando.  Whatever the case may be, I don’t think he will play for the Magic this season.  One of the teams (Thunder) that are reportedly trying to pursue Howard, could be playing the Magic on opening day, thus Dwight would face his old team on opening day.  How sweet would that be?

Game 2 added: L.A. Clippers @ Golden State Warriors

I am not looking forward to this one as much as the other game, but this game could mean a lot for the Clips.  I mean, Blake Griffin has been awoken as a star in the NBA.  They have a good cast, and could even get better with a guy like Dwight Howard or Chris Paul coming in there.  This team could be very good.  The presence of DeAndre Jordan, Eric Gordan, and Al-Farouq Aminu would never hurt any team.  Also, the Warriors may trade away Monta Ellis, which could be a huge deal.  So, I guess we’ll see how day 1 looks like.

    Who’s excited??

The most exciting forward and possibly the most exciting guard in the league are playing ( Griffin & Ellis). Two young teams who are only getting better. This game will be exciting to watch, and like the selection

I am very excited to see my dubs play on opening day. And I hope we keep Ellis, because he really is a great scorer, and I believe that it is in the Warriors best interest that we keep him, cause him and Curry are a great combo, and if we can add a solid center, along with another versatile Small Foward that can score double digits coming off the bench behind Dorrell, than I could see us moving into the top 6 in the West in that case.
