18 Year Old Lefteris Bochoridis Getting Main Rotation Minutes In The Greek League
I'm always excited every time I see on these Greek player posts. The level of absurdity in the greatness of each Greek player is sure to be epic and then you’ll go on a rant mislabeling a lack of Greek players in the NBA as racist. As if players such as LeBron James, Shaq, Derrick Rose, Dirk Nowitzki, etc. had been born and raised in Greece with their same talent level the NBA just point blank wouldn’t have taken them. Sure players may not get the love you feel they deserve but if they were as dominant as you say they would be in the NBA. The college players that you say struggle overseas may do so for a multitude of reasons. Different style of play, not being the focal point of an offense, hell I would imagine many of college players may struggle overseas for the same reasons they didn’t make it to the NBA(lack of shooting ability, creating own shot, etc.)
To make in NBA you must be mason, he does not have chance beacuse he is not mason

As far as current players in Europe go, the most obvious ones by far are Dimitris Diamantidis and Allen Iverson. The next most obvious one would appear to be Ricky Rubio, although he is not nearly as obvious and blatant as an example as Diamantidis is for instance.
So let's compile a list of all the players that are Masons that are currently playing basketball in Europe. I will start.

Certainly appears to be:
Ricky Rubio
Iverson and Diamantidis obviously are without any doubt. But I can't really think of any other players that would for sure fit the bill. But I suspect that there might be some more. "

18 year old Greek player Lefteris Bochoridis is getting main rotation minutes in the Greek League with Aris, as their backup shooting guard. He is 6'5".
This is extremely unusual for a player his age, and very rare. Remember that many, many, many players come from big NCAA schools in big conferences and struggle in the Greek League after 4 years of top NCAA level.
Even the very best Greek prospects very, very rarely make a rotation at age 18, especially in a club like Aris.
Bochoridis would be a college freshman if he was in the USA. It's just extremely rare for a player his age to be doing so well in a European level like Greek League.
