Thanks to NBADraft.net HOF'er Adi Joseph, writing for USA Today and the "For the Win" blog, for posting this letter written by this undiscovered talent. I hope the Pels at least give him a try-out to see if he can back up his claim.

he spells as well as half the members here

If they were writing instead of typing, 90% of the posts here would look like that.

Maybe he was hoping they'd

Maybe he was hoping they'd add a couple inches like normal. (Nate being 5'9, Kemba being 6'1, etc.)

What a Joke

What a Joke.......There are D-League teams that have tryouts every year ...

The Sioux Falls Skyforce an affiliate of the Heat will be holding tryouts in Sioux Falls on Sept. 21st ,deadline to signup is September 18...And tryouts in Miami on Oct.12,deadline is October 9th... ...Entry Fee is $150.........

Or players can send videos of themselves playing in high school, college or any other setting, including individual workouts to an agent, who can get them jobs playing overseas.....

I wouldn't necessarily call

I wouldn't necessarily call Lenny Cooke a undiscovered talent..... but seriously

Let's try to figure out who wrote the letter, my top 5 are

Johnathan Bender, Greg Oden, Darius Miles, Lenny Cooke and Alimoe from And 1 fame

Hmm

Still not as much of a gamble as signing Greg Oden.

Hasn't played in 5 years?

If he's so good, why hasn't he played in 5 years?

Talent

I grew up in New York, and some of the talent of guys that played on the street was NBA level. Some of the guys were high school studs who dropped out and got arrested and did time etc. A bunch of sad stories. Some of the guys were also just an inch or two too short. But many of these guys were un coachable and would never pass a drug test.

However, from a pure talent perspective, could play in the NBA.

Dominate like a Kobe or LeBron, probably not, but not out of the question.

Well, We can rule out

Well, We can rule out European Baller's involvement in this. The blacked out name is less than 6 syllables.
