Five-star recruit Zion Williamson explains why he picked Duke

Top basketball recruit Zion Williamson - you've probably seen a few of his dunk videos go viral - made a big announcement on Saturday: He has decided to commit to Duke University.

That means Duke is set to have an incredible freshman class. Aside from Williamson, five-star recruits R.J. Barrett, Cam Reddish and Tre Jones have all signed with the Blue Devils.

After announcing his decision, Williamson explained why he picked Duke over other schools like Kentucky and North Carolina. He said that he wanted to be part of The Brotherhood. Per USA TODAY High School Sports:

"Duke stood out because 'The Brotherhood' represents a family," Williamson said live on ESPN 2 during his announcement. "Coach K, he's just the most legendary coach to coach college basketball. I felt like going to Duke University I can learn a lot from him in my time there."

When the 17-year-old was asked about what it says that so many top recruits are selecting Duke this year, he again said that being part of the Brotherhood means a lot to him and that he feels they can "do something special" together.

"Coach K, he came to all of us and he said just that word Brotherhood is just a very powerful word. He came to us and said if we all can come together, all three of us bring our own talents and our own uniqueness to the table, I feel like all of us together, also with the point guard of Tre Jones, I felt like we can all do something special at Duke University."
