Collinsworth's 10th triple-double lifts BYU past LMU 91-80

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Nick Emery scored 24 points, Chase Fisher added 20, Kyle Collinsworth had his 10th career triple-double and BYU took control in the second half Thursday night to defeat Loyola Marymount 91-80.

Emery had 16 points in the second half when the Cougars (14-6, 5-2 West Coast) shot 59 percent. Collinsworth finished with 10 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high 15 assists for his fourth triple-double this season. Kyle Davis had 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Adom Jacko had a career-high 26 points on 11-of-12 shooting for the Lions (9-10, 2-6), who used 68 percent shooting and a 20-0 run to build a 50-40 lead at the half. They hit seven straight shots, five of them 3s, in the run.

BYU scored on seven straight possessions with four 3s — three from Emery — to get back in the game early in the second half then pulled away with a 13-0 run in the final five minutes.
