Let's just say it..., the team that was supposed to win... won.

Pete MickaelPete MickaelTaugres, Vitoria was the undisputed favorite and almost slipped up when the Aito led team from Malaga pushed it into OT. A BIG note* is to be made here. Malaga made it a game and did it w/o the Nash-like PG Carlos Cabezas (who, if rumors are confirmed, may be heading to the BIG SHOW, the one and only NBA).

While The Dude suffers through Olympic withdrawal it helps to have U.S. Open Tennis but after Usain Bolt... everything seems slower. There was some serious greatness (Phelps) from Beijing and the Olympic media coverage in Spain was complete. It's missed.

They are really back! The USA/NBA team, after so many recent
disappointments (for all) is back! Sometimes you wish and hope for things and
sometimes what you wish for really comes true. Happy endings. The final score
being 116 to 85.
