His shooting has also been impressive, at 48% from the field including 43% behind the arc. In his last game, he scored 25 points on 8-13 shooting. He also recorded 3 steals.

They needed all of his points to eke out an 83-80 win at home. Hutchison was 7-10 from three and 7-9 at the stripe. He also hauled in 8 rebounds.

In the opener against Arizona State, he scored 23 points on 9-14 shooting to go with 19 rebounds and 3 blocks. The following game, he scored 24 with 14 rebounds and 2 blocks. He then scored 26 and had another 2 blocks in the loss to Colorado.

The 7-foot Australian native Landale is off to a great start in conference play for the Gaels. Against Loyala, he scored 21 points on 9-15 shooting to go with 9 rebounds. In an OT win against BYU, he played 44 minutes and took advantage of the extra time. He scored 31 points and hauled in 13 rebounds to go with 2 blocks and 2 steals. He shot 13-15 from the field. That efficiency is remarkable.

Fletcher Magee – G – Wofford

Fletcher MageeFletcher MageeMagee is under the radar as one of the top shooters and scorers in the country. Scoring 24 points a game, he shoots 59% from the field, 58% from three and has not missed a single one of his 29 free throw attempts on the year. In the win over UNC, he scored 27 points on 10-23 shooting. By his standards, this was an inefficient shooting night.
