Freeman began the season as a starter but was suspended for four games due to attitude issues. When he returned to the team he came off the bench. He made a big impact in Baylor's NCAA tournament opener, scoring 21 off the bench in the win over New Mexico State. But he scored only four points in Baylor's last two tournament games.
