Since 2005, NBA scouts have been barred from attending high school events.
Commissioner Stern seemed troubled over the influx of direct tickets from high school to pro, and eliminated NBA personnel completely from high school gyms.

With no NBA scouts in attendance, the level of competition and prospects was down from past years. Only Marquis Teague was here among the elite level incoming freshmen. Regardless, there were some top level returning college prospects, with Jared Sullinger and Perry Jones leading the charge. Here's a look at the top prospects:

The level in the European Championship Division B (played in Varna, Bulgaria) is not very high, but you can equally find some interesting prospects.
What a bummer. After teasing us with the idea of playing college basketball, Andre Drummond announced he will be transferring to Wilbraham & Monson Academy to spend a post-graduate year playing another season of high school hoops.
Previously tight-lipped about his recruitment, Drummond did release five colleges he would consider attending for the 2012-2013 season.
