When freshmen play like freshmen, and big men are not that big, there is a good chance the perception of a draft is going to be weak. The perceived weakness does not mean that the draft lacks NBA caliber players, or even players with star potential, but it does mean that the draft lacks young players who showed themselves to be on an accelerated developmental track as well as the valuable, rare, and elusive talented true center. This is the backdrop of the 2013 Draft.
