Maui Invitational: Top Prospects

One of the premiere events of the early season is the EA Sports Maui Invitational with its tournament format. It gives scouts a 3 game window to really get familiarized with 8 of the top teams in the country. While this year's event lacked one of the Nation's truly elite teams, the schools came in with a combined 30-0 record and there was no shortage of talent.

Cameron Clark - Oklahoma

Cameron ClarkCameron ClarkAfter waiting three years to play a scoring role, senior guard, Cameron Clark has been on quite a tear for the 5-1 Oklahoma Sooners. After going for 20 points and 9 rebounds against Seton Hall, Clark exploded for 32 points and 7 rebounds against #1 ranked Michigan State. Since his outburst against the Pirates, Cameron has been averaging 24.7 ppg and 8 rpg including shooting 46% from downtown.

There are all sorts of swell matchups this week, largely due to the ACC-Big Ten hookups.

Tuesday’s action includes Indiana at Syracuse (No. 6), Michigan at Duke (9) and Notre Dame at Iowa.

Wednesday it will be North Carolina at top-ranked Michigan State, Wisconsin (14) at Virginia and Maryland at Ohio State (4).

Another one to watch Monday: Florida (12) at Connecticut (7).
