JaMychal GreenJaMychal GreenDay two of the 60th annual P.I.T. kicked off with an afternoon matchup between Wednesday night’s losing teams as Norfolk Sports Club and K&D Rounds Landscaping vied for a spot in Saturday’s Consolation Bracket final. Sparked by the fiery competitiveness of point man Charlie Westbrook (South Dakota), who chipped in a workmanlike 15 pts.

NBA Mock Draft 3.0

The 2012 Hoop Summit took place last weekend in Portland, during which three of NBADraft.net's talent evaluators took a break from scouting to put together a first round mock draft. We took turns, taking into account team needs for every selection. Tyler Ingle went first, Mike Visenberg second and Aran Smith third.

A common sentiment among the throngs of NBA and international league representatives gathered in Portsmouth’s Churchland High gym Wednesday evening was the desire to identify potential low maintenance prospects who can address specific needs faced by their clubs. Half of this year’s 64 participants took the court on the tournament’s opening evening in a doubleheader that featured five lesser known CPOYs and a number of under appreciated bigs. Vying to make lasting impressions in the minds of professional basketball’s brain trust, this year’s P.I.T.
