Every year, NBA teams spend massive amounts of time getting to know as much as they can about every prospect they’re interested in. The thing is, it’s still an inexact science. No matter how much time and resources a team pours into a prospect, there are no guarantees when it comes to the draft. Sometimes the teams get a keeper, but there’s always a chance the team’s next draft pick could go the way of Denver’s Nikoloz Tskitishvili or Charlotte’s Adam Morrison.
Kyrie Irving moves back to the top spot as it appears Cleveland wants to take what they see as the safest pick in the draft. Derrick Williams would be the best option at the top pick in our minds. With a week before the draft, here's how we see things playing out.
